mary - tie his right arm around his waist to make him pitch leftie. haha. i like the phils move. bourjos isn't that bad of an outfielder and better than what they have sadly.
The Blue Jays' 2016 giant wall calendar features David Price on the cover and it also includes Jose Reyes and Daniel Norris. Price signed with Boston, Reyes was gone before Price was traded for and Norris was sent to Detroit as part of the deal for Price. Someone is getting fired. And if I preordered this and they wouldn't take it back I'd file a class-action lawsuit. This goes beyond a simple mistake. MLB needs to stop getting other companies to make their stuff with no supervision.
saw on mlb network last night that bryce harper could get a $400 million dollar deal when he is up for free agency or when he resigns! $400 million! and sorry to eric byrnes, harper is still behind mike trout as the best player in the game. christ last year harper missed half the season with injuries.
Well if Bryce is going to get that he's going to need to repeat last season 3 more times. If he does that they who knows what kind of cash he can get.
The Diamondbacks have agreed to a six-year contract with free agent right-hander Zack Greinke worth $206.5 million, CBS Sports MLB Insider Jon Heyman has confirmed. The contract is pending a physical. The deal includes $60 million in deferred money that will be paid out in the five years following the contract. Greinke, 32, was arguably the best free agent starter on the market this offseason and inarguably the best once David Price agreed to a seven-year contract with the Red Sox. Heyman recently reported Greinke could exceed Price's $31 million average annual salary.
the talk about chapman leaving the reds got me reminiscing about the Nasty Boys. did a little reading, and came across this little gem: sorry, mike, but your man card is SO pulled for that.
and now they have chapman shooting a gun in October 8 times and some attack on his girlfriend or some such nonsense so now MLB is investigating. it's 2 months ago. it's over.
To me the most shocking deal of the offseason just happened, and I doubt it will be topped. The Braves just traded Shelby Miller to Arizona for Ender Inciarte, Aaron Blair and DANSBY SWANSON. I can't believe they parted ways with Swanson not even 6 months after they took him #1 overall. That kid is for real.
