KC ROYALS - WORLD SERIES CHAMPIONS

 

royals were clutch when they had to be. congrats,.

 

I cant stand that team, but they won. Was hoping the Mets would put up a bit more of a fight.

 

yeah will their bats went cold and their pitching staff shit the bed fast. like i said before it's a learning curve. royals lost the ws last year and won this year. phils got smoked in 07, won in 08 and contended from 09-11. the mets will be back for sure. starting staff is one of the best in mlb.

some of the losses were hard to take. i think the mets closer set a record for blown saves in a ws with 3. that's hard to overcome.

 

Familia had 3 BS, but he really pitched well. His 2nd BS was because of the Murphy error, if he makes that play they get out of the inning with no runs. Then last night Duda had Hosmer dead to rights but made an awful throw. Even just a decent throw has him easily. Both cases he got the weak ground balls and his defense let him down.

 

The Washington Nationals have named Dusty Baker as their new manager.

 

oh boy. i don't know if dusty can hang with those young kids in washington. they ran matt williams out of town pretty fast.
