there u go BWW. Phils behind Nola and Harper's Grand Slam spank the Cards. In other MLB News... https://www.cbssports.com/mlb/news/...nd-career-no-hitter-and-first-in-mlb-in-2019/ MIKE FIERS HAS PITCHED HIS SECOND NO HITTER OF HIS CAREER ! https://www.cbssports.com/live/highlights-from-the-reds-and-athletics-on-tuesday-may-7th/1686848/ wow-a diving grab in the short outfield to preserve the no-no and an over the wall HR robbing catch to also save the no-no. won't get much closer than that from blowing it.
See....what a difference a day makes. Also...Kris Bryant is definitely back. If he has regained his old form and the rest of the Cubs lineup keeps doing what they've done the past 5 weeks.....it's gonna be scary good.
haha. im trying to trade for him in fantasty baseball bc his owner doesn't believe he's fully back yet. im trying to horns-waggle him. haha. and Harper's grandslam spotted Nola a 6-0 lead. His pitch count was high for only 5 innings, so that is still a major concern. it's a win and i'll take it. rubber match early today at 1:35.
phils lose opener. no problem as they won the series 2-1. 3 game lead now in the NL EAST. Cole Irvin for a nice debut win yesterday for the Phils. Guy is probably a 4th or 5th rotation guy, but he had great command of his pitches yesterday!
