I’m not saying it’s not possible. I’m just saying...don’t you need to accomplish something before you start thumping your chest?
Relative to the browns? Yes. Relative to the rest of the league? No. I've been a Browns supporter of my entire life. However, the homers on this board can be really tough to handle. Whatever gets you through the struggles, I understand it. But if the team is really going to join the ranks of decent teams in the league, then the perspective needs to shift to be a bit more realistic. No one is shitting on the Browns. However, they don't belong on any pedestals yet. That's all. Let's go back to what was an interesting positional discussion...
[checks entire thread] Not one person has claimed a Super Bowl win in 2019. Not. One. This entire thread is discussing only the AFCN next year and how the Browns may stack up against that division.
Excuse me friend but who the fuck are you to show up on our board and tell us what we need to do in any discussion we are having? Take your bullshit elsewhere. We're not interested.
Nobody asks you to post in this forum so the solution is simple. Don't read it and you won't feel the need to post anything about it.
Not over the head at all. I'm STILL discussing the game "most" of the NFL world expects us to lose. The Chargers game. You brought up a game that primarily only "Browns fans" expect us to lose. The Browns game. Most expect us to beat the Browns, but not the Chargers
I'm sorry but what team can win 8 more games than they did the previous season and not consider it an accomplishment?
Probably not. But is does feel better than being owned by a divisional rival and another team in the same division that used to be our team 20 years ago. You don't need to respond . . . Just think about how it felt to have the Packers' number this year and how that might translate to the foreseeable future. Both teams are heading in the same direction. Just taking different paths.
It felt great to beat the Packers to clinch the division. The Bears didn’t have the Packers number this year though because they split victories with the home team winning in each contest. As much as I’d like to say the Bears own the division moving forward...I won’t because that would just be baseless, useless, conjecture. It’s much easier, and sensible, to take it one season at a time than to project things that have a high percentage of not coming true.
Quite honestly, I don't care what you are saying, or what you think is possible. If you don't get the excitement coming from Brownstown, then you have a disconnect...Or maybe you just like throwing the wet blanket around. Idk.... The most wins any team ever had coming off a winless season is 2...So we've already tripled that, and we have an opportunity to quad up, all while achieving one of the goals you so astutely outlined for us. A winning record... So excuse me Chicago. I guess you will just have to pardon the enthusiastic Browns fan over here on the Browns message board....
Well again, numbnuts, I didn’t say you can’t be excited or optimistic. It’s the comment about ruling the division for the next 15 years, with no current success, that I have an issue with. That’s a kinda absurd starement, in my opinion. I’m just of the opinion that you need to accomplish something, anything, before you earn the right to be cocky. But that’s just me. I’m silly.
lmao! Before you dig any deeper...You should know, that was an exaggerated comment directed at a rival Steeler fan that I've been going back and forth with for probably 15 years or so. Perhaps you've noticed, his team has had a little bit of an edge on mine over the years..Of course, he knew it was an over the top jab in jest.. As did "almost" everyone else. So here I am having to spell it out the dynamics for the Bears fan that just can't wrap his head around it. lol! smh....Stay in your lane. moron.
It isn’t the first time you’ve made a similar comment. So lol...smh....lmao...omg.... My lane is mainly pointing out dumb things other people post...so I’m right in the middle of it.
Damn, Tim! I missed the memo appointing BWW as a lane monitor. Didn't even know the opening existed. Just out of curiosity, what were the requirements, other than being a pompous ass?
