saw 30 min of Captain Marvel on my streaming device and turned it off. i had no idea what the hell was going on nor who anyone was. i had to wiki the plot to see if the stream came in from the middle of the movie. it didn't. very hard to follow. may watch it again ! ugh.

TRIPLE FRONTIER in theaters and Netflix. Really good opening scenes and premise. insane locations for the middle of the movie. starts to get a little crazy with Affleck's character. part 3 and the ending was a letdown. could've been so much better but the last part of the movie and ending kind of ruined it for me. overall a really solid movie. i did enjoy it.

The Ballad of Buster Scruggs is one of the craziest movies I've seen in awhile. 6 different vignettes set in the Old West ranging from wacky to depressing to thought-provoking. Really enjoyed it.

It's part of the plot. You are supposed to be as confused as her and hopefully figure it out before a cameo makes it obvious. It's not the greatest Marvel movie but it isn't bad.
HEek they talk about if they are looking at the right story in the movie itself. lol

i saw the young Samuel L. Jackson part. Didn't get to the second part you mentioned above ? Don't understand it ?

And to me, the whole Thanos snapping his fingers and half the world's population disappears is just silly. a snap of his fingers with the gold glove filled with the stones and poof everyone is going, but not really gone as they are making more movies? kind of lame.

The Quiet Man - doesn't get much better on a St. Patrick's Day evening after a meal of corned beef and cabbage, potatoes and carrots, shots of Jameson and pints of Guinness.

the upside - a remake of a remake of a true story of a black man taking care of a super wealthy man. kevin hart and bryan cranston star in it. predictable but a nice sunday night movie. movie had some funny scenes and parts in it.

weekend overall, was rough...after a rough weekend of a MRI, which supposed to be in an Open Bore MRI machine. It wasn't. wasn't happy about that. was on a heavy anti-anxiety pill for the MRI and wow was i woozy. then as i was bringing in a newly purchase wooden block table, my favorite indoor cat escaped my apartment for 2 min, until i captured him outside. he hasn't seen the outdoors in years, so he was so scared to see grass, concrete and hear cars go by. if he bolted , i was screwed bc i couldn't catch him. he was so scared, he walked up to my neighbors porch, and then i grabbed him. phew. he would never survive outdoors as he lost all his teeth 3 yrs ago due to a terrible infection. i then clipped a curb, still a little woozy from the MRI, and scrapped up my right tire rim. ugh. will be expensive to fix or replace. drove from south NJ to Lancaster yesterday for some St. Patty's dinner with my sister on no notice. stayed a little too late and drove home on the PA Turnpike and had trouble focusing and was just exhausted from the 2 hr drive from NJ to Lancaster and then from Lancaster to home. Ugh. Watch the movie and in bed early. Cat was happy to see me.

I never pass up the chance to watch it. Hilarious, and Maureen O'Hara was lovely. What I wouldn't give to know what she whispered to John Wayne in the final scene!

Wait until it comes out on dvd, this was a total independent film that was low budget. That doesn't mean anything to a movie buff, just watch it knowing that it's nowhere near a high budget hollywood type of film.

I'm guessing that young people didn't have a clue who Terry was and the older people probably didn't even know the movie came out, or just didn't have much desire to drive out and watch it.

thanks Axe. im just happy the MRI is over as i was so nervous about it and wigged out in a closed MRI machine 3 yrs ago for my broken wrist. that's why i was heavily medicated bc i can't deal with the closeness of the tube. the one saturday was still pretty closed in but by fat head was sticking out of it this time. no matter what the results are - im mentally prepared for the bad news as my lower back has been bad for years and repetitive bending over locks it up. the past month it has been in terrible pain and getting out of bed and even walking a few steps in a challenge.

having my favorite cat escape would've been "cat"astrophic bc he has no teeth and is an indoor cat. the road outside where i live has cars going 40-50 mph on it, so he would've been killed at some point. plus i've had cats all my life and he's the best one i've ever had or seen as other people i know have cats. very affectionate and talks in a cat wimper. when i call him for a nap in my Archie Bunker recliner, he comes running and hopes up on my lap and naps with me, even if he was napping elsewhere. just an awesome cat, so happy to get him back.

the tire rim was cutting the corner of a tight turn too close and hitting it. i was still woozy from the MRI, the meds and a 3 hr nap afterwards. going to be expensive to fix.

people have those blue halogen headlights that just blind me, so on the Turnpike any car behind me with them is shining them in my review mirror and it's hard to see. made the drive home a pain.

now waiting for MRI and blood test results !!

i know of him, but little about him, besides his young death and hockey records. i am interested in seeing it.

Tough thing to do when a cat escapes...is to resist your impulse to run after him. It's hard, but if you just act like everything's normal, talk to him/her in a normal, soothing voice, and just walk - not run - the cat won't get freaked more than it already is. My wife panics - if one of our cats runs out the door, she starts yelling at the cat and running it...which just scares the cat more and and she runs further away.

Anyway, sorry to hear about your back. Threw my back out a couple months ago, took a full month to recover, then another 2-3 weeks or so before I got caught up again at the gym. Getting old sucks.

yeah getting old sucks. my golf hacking career is probably over. haha. blood work came back good. waiting on MRI results. ugh.

as for the cat, i didn't know what to do at first. i saw him outside and was worried he would bolt. he was so scared himself never being outside before so he walk real slow. i did call him in a calm voice etc. he wouldn't last long outside with no teeth and he's an attention lover, so a night without his blanket and head scratches and he would be like "outside is cold and it sucks out here!" i wanna go home! haha.

well the MRI came back and it's not good. Doctor said the good news is no herniated or ruptured discs. i of course asked what was the bad news? 2 different discs are bulging on both sides and both are protruding from my back. will need physical therapy, either cortisone or epidural shots and weight loss for starters. no surgery for now. great. my tap dancing career is over. if i were a horse, they'd shoot me.
