I liked the Twilight Saga as well, and I'm no teenage girl either! *NO* I thought it was great different perspective on vampires and werewolves.....Instead of the same old crap! The backround music was awesome as well...... *THUMBSUP*
X-Men Apocalypse. Why do I do it to myself? Why do I continue to watch this crappy movies when they don't explain things well and I don't understand have the stuff going on in them? First hour - I understood. Second hour and 30 min baffled. Spoiler So Apocalypse wants a new world bc a tv set told him we have weapons and countries are super powers? that's it. that's why he wants a new world? the last 45 min were just a smashed up battle scene that i fast forwarded through. made no sense. so the sun made him alive after 3000 yrs? that's it? the sun? wow - talk about originality. and the hidden scene? what company is that? no idea. Spoiler and at the end of the other movie, Wolverine wakes up and everything is fine and Scott and Jean are alive and older. This movie those 2 are young again. Why? Why did this movie start in the early 80's when he wakes up to them being older? Makes no sense.
"Sea of Trees" was terrible and what made it terrible is that is boring throughout. Very disappointed that MM would do this crappy film! IMPERIUM was great. Highly recommend......... Went out and got Tarzan this morning. So far, good reviews from Redbox watchers......I'll give my take on it after I see it........
Yup, Jane is hot! I take it it's Margot Robbie. Her hair is done up differently. I didn't realize it was her until I saw the cast at the end......It was decent. Worth the watch....... Edit: Tarzan was Michael Skaarsgard? He looks like a young Bill Pullman......
Better screen quality and better FX plus a bit of a different story....... I reserved Independence Day this morning. Have to pick it up sometime today. Some are saying it's not as good as the 1st and some like it, soooooo......Did you see it yet? Edit: How was Tampa?
i'll give anything a chance. it's in my Netflix que. Tampa was fine. a 1 time thing. glad i was home yesterday. Golf was a major struggle beyond belief. Everything went wrong my golf swing beyond explaining. would love to relocate but they wanna pay $30,000 less than what i make and expect the weather and surroundings to be a justification to do it. no thanks. i would move down there in 2 seconds but not for the loss of pay.
Captain America-Civil War- another mashed up, thrown together overload of special effects with bad acting and a bad story hero movie. FX were great. Story was better than that God awful X-Men movie I saw, but it still had flaws. I guess it was decent for a B+.
Wow! They are trying to dock people $30,000 that would move to another city just because it's warm and has more things to do? As if they have something to do with the weather and city! Gimmee a break!
yeah - i sat next to this young hot girl at the bears-bucs game and she makes $130,000 as a anesthesiologist where in other states, she would make $200,000. my thing is $130,000 is a ton of money anywhere! and her bf is a Doctor, so money is not an issue. im on a single income and not in a medical field. i work in an office. big difference. i can't go backwards and give up $30,000. i wouldn't or couldn't afford to pay my bills then or rent. if i found a job that paid what i make now down there, i would go, but that's an almost impossibility. oh well time to brace for winter.
saw the Nice Guys with Russell Crowe and Ryan Gosling. Wow. had the makings to be a good movie and then it got very weird and confusing with a premise that you never see coming and it was lame. very silly acting too from Gosling. Could've been really solid, but wasn't and kind of a dud. C-
Tarzan--Margot Robbie either put on weight in her face bc if you google her from Suicide Squad, her cheeks are a lot chubbier. she looks like a different person than from Suicide Squad. I think there is some CGI in there. Tarzan was very solid. I do wish they had more of a backstory. how did he get discovered? how did they determine he was a Lord? who taught him how to speak? more interaction with ALL the animals and not just apes etc?? The plot was okay. Could've used more work there too. B-
im not waiting on igloo for my own review of Independence Day:Resurgence. Special Effects were great. Too bad that's about all that was. The screenplay seems to be written by a first year film student and it was that bad. so the aliens are smarter and yet they fall victim to a bait and switch? hmm. and the US Air Force only employs children aka early 20 yr olds as pilots now? Really? And of course the former President's daughter is an Ace Pilot too. I mean she looks 15, could be 22 and is a ace like Maverick Pete Mitchell. Yeah ok. The scene where Liam Helmsworth cuts himself out of his parachute, i thought that was on Earth? The next scene, his hair is dry and is on the mothership? How did that happen? He was on Earth. And the aliens use our own guns on us as gun totting gun nuts right out of Tom Cruise from Taps - "it's beautiful man, beautiful!" Wow. So the Africans have been battling the aliens for 15 yrs and now one else has? Sucks to be them. This movie was made for 1 reason - money. It lacks any real big time acting stars and don't give me Jeff Goldblum aka Apartment.com guy. It's poorly executed and is a mashed up piece of junk. D+
