I don't remember putting quarters in the original Pong machines, as I was far more drawn to pinball in those days. But I know I played Breakout on the original machines a few times, and as stupid as the game was I really liked Sea Wolf and played it often. For anyone young that is just now trying out those "retro" Atari collection things (occasionally on sale for something like $40), most of those games - including the really lame ones - actually were coin-operated, dedicated game consoles in the early to mid 1970s. The "Combat" cartridge that came with the original 2600 was a coin-op machine called "Tank War". Things like Gun Fight, Night Driver, Circus Atari and that skiing game were all once machines that some people actually paid a quarter to play.
Great Draft for the Browns. Teams win Superbowls with Good QBs or Good Pass Rushers. Browns have the potential to be a good team for a long time.
Haha, I bought one of those around Thanksgiving last year!! It doesn't have all the classics on it though...
Good call on Breakout. lol! I've had old games popping up in my head all morning, but I never would have remembered that one. We used to spend hours playing that game...I remember when the Atari 5200 came out, with the much improved graphics. I seemed like such a major advancement. Like it was never gonna get any better than that..lol!
I got my son one of those classic games for Xmas. It was only like $15, and It has PacMan, Galaga, Dig Dug, and a few other obscure games. The funny thing was, I can still remember the PacMan pattern, and it still works flawlessly...Needless to say, the kids were impressed with my Pac skills. lol!
TBH, that wasn't a choice i really wanted to make. Came extremely close to selecting Fitzpatrick. But the Bears secondary isn't in bad shape. The LB corps most certainly is. Front 7 needed help, so Edmunds is in.
Oh and just to get this off my chest....... the Bears picking after the Bucs is a friggin joke when both teams finished with the same record and the Bucs beat the Bears in the regular season.
Great pick for Chicago... No worries, but just for future reference: We try not to "name drop" players that are still on the board...
I see, sorry. Thought i'd give a little info on thought process, but no probs I'll remember that going forward.
It happens. No biggie...It's for the guy that's three picks away and he's hoping and praying that his target falls to him. Obviously, he's hoping everybody has forgotten the player exists...lol! At this stage of the draft it's not such a big deal. We all know the marquee names... As the draft progresses it becomes more important to try and avoid name drops...
But overall Bears strength of schedule was weaker? I assume that's why you pick after. Kinda funny how much this resembles many fantasy football tie-breaker complaints I have seen
