I traded down 6 spots to 4.102 because I had six guys I liked. But I was prepared to Gallup to the podium at 3.96.
I particularly liked two HOFers retiring early purely because they played for the Lions. Everyone drafts a bum now and then, but a HOFer checking out early, that hurts.
Lucky me. You traded from before my one pick to after my current one. From possibly sniping me I sniped you.
I’d put it at about 50-50 A lot of people knew we weren’t as good as we looked last year, but we at least believed we had the right system in place. The nutjobs thought we had a shot at the cup this year. Now we are pretty sure we’re better than we looked this year, but are wondering if scheme or coaching is part of the issue. I personally don’t care to panic yet. I’d say Chiarelli should just do his best to bump Lucic down a line and just find a quality 3rd pairing D-man, and let coach work on our awful special teams. Let’s just see where we are next year. Better defensive play and certainly better special teams would go a long way.
File this under crazy but true GM news... Josh Gordon was brought to Cleveland by former Browns GM Tom Heckert. That was FIVE regimes ago....Gordon just turned 27 yesterday. smh...
Honestly I put a 2nd round grade on Ejiofor. I think he can be really good. Not the twitchiest, but strong, good instincts, and quick enough to finish what he starts. IMO great value here
