Considering the comparisons to Bitonio, and the similarity in style of play, I'm surprised as a group we haven't taken Corbett higher. He could become a very good starter for somebody
If Green had lasted just a few more picks, Browns would have taken him in a heartbeat...And that's with me already taking Chubb. Just too good of value here IMO...
Can someone talk to me about Malik Jefferson. I keep seeing people putting high to mid 2nd rounder on him. But I watch his tape and I see a kid that doesn't do much. I want to like him. I want to select him based on what people say about him. What am I missing?
I took him off my board today when I was researching picks. Seems like a field idiot. All the athleticism but can't put it together.
Thanks! I was trying to trade up since this morning trying to make sure I got him. Honestly surprised he lasted to where he did.
He's a bit like Edmunds on tape that way. The plays he makes, he makes with authority. Looks decisive and convincing. But other plays it kinda looks like he's just an athlete running around without a plan. When I first watched him I had a mid 2nd grade. Upon re-examination I downgraded him to low 2- high 3. I think he has a chance to be pretty good in a 4-3. I'm not sure if he should play mike or will though. Edit: If he can improve reading queues and avoiding or shedding blocks I think he could be well worth a 2nd round selection by year 2
Correct me if I'm wrong, aren't we allowed to trade comp picks? Didn't the NFL pass a new rule about that a couple years ago?
I think it’s because at the moment he’s kinda a tweeter size-wise. His frame looks like it has plenty of room to add some weight/strength though, so I’m not too worried about it. I don’t mind a bit of a project if I’m trying to make them bigger as opposed to teaching someone how to play football.
I'm running out for a haircut. I'll peek in from my phone. Shouldn't be gone long. Keep not taking my targets please.
