I'd rather let him go a bit longer before he loses them. How about you PM me your suggestion(s) here and I will take them into the highest consideration, then when they are on again you can have them if he doesn't show.
This was the 1 guy I had left I would have taken at 32 without trading down, although there were a few more I'd have been very happy with that would have made it to 2(15) (well at least 1 of them would make it).
Really great value here. Really like him as a player. Too many defenders I like going to NFC East teams in this mock.
He was the 'coin flip' for the Bucs at the top of the round. With both Reid and Hughes on the board my asking price to move down was non-negotiable.
I got 3 offers at 32. Well 2 really and one was a feeler with RT that never happened since he took his chances (and got Wynn anyways). But those 2 OTs we autoed got the price to be sweetened to give me an upgrade in the 5th, which I now used to get back up to get Reid. I would have probably taken 2(5) and 4(4) over the Cardinals trade were it officially offered as I felt Reid (or at another top target) would likely be there. And we had only 1 OT suggested at 30/31 but we swapped Lorenzo Carter to an OT after RT suggested it. Thanks RT LMAO. It sure worked out for me. Had I stayed at 32 I was going to take Reid.
The Giants paid 15m per year for Nate Solder, and I think most would conclude he is a slightly above average tackle. Teams aren't only desperate for just this year, they've been desperate for some time.
After his son stabilized Solder was one of the better tackles in the league last year. I do think 15 million was an overpay but frankly I'd rather pay him his contract to play LT than Norwell his to play LG. It's insane what being an above average lineman will get you these days let alone a top player.
Or what some teams would trade for the potential of a decent one when you have depth issues. Seahawks got their 5th back from the Tobin trade when they traded Bennett. Then they had that big Duane Brown trade.
I believe that should be 2(23) from Panthers....Browns own 2(24)- acquired in deal with Buffalo last night....
