wow- dolphins get a stud! realistically I don't think he lasts that long They need O line big time- but Warren does give you some blocking on the edge so I say go for it- he is worth it.
Hopefully he turns out better than the last time you took a guy from Penn State as the first TE off the board.
I’m sort of amused this year how the entire world figures this just has to be the Colts pick. As if a guy not physically as dominant as Gronkowski, or as fast as Kittle is going to save the investment that is Anthony Richardson by himself… It’s overstated in my opinion. If he slides to them, it may well be the pick. But I don’t think the front office is losing a ton of sleep over it
Anyways, The Colts have their guy picked out. If I don’t get an offer in the next 20 minutes or so I’ll probably just snag me somebody interesting
He's gotta have his head on straight. Niners have met with him a couple of times including a 30 visit which suggests they are at least interested. For what the niners need, he's my top (on the field) player by a decent amount in this spot. If he didn't have the previous allegations, I think he'd go #8 overall to Carolina. He'd be my true edge #2 .
Well we did one mock before this, I would say I didn’t take him there either, but he actually got picked even earlier last time. But no, I can live without him.
Definitely not a piggy back. Second one was a couple of years later and a different location if I remember right. That said, I think on the second one they didn't even talk to Green about it. They just closed it. I don't know the exact details, but seems like that allegation ended up being nothing. But 2 separate incidents...scary as hell if you're drafting him.
By piggy back I mean sometimes it gets out and someone decides to come forward whether it was true or an opportunity. But I think you are right that the 2nd one happened later and the first one probably wasn't being discussed by the media or anything at the time. Then again he wasn't a big story back then iirc.
Just checking in to let you know I'm around, if we get those last two picks for today's schedule in. And one other heads-up for our new participants: you might notice the spreadsheet has a tab labeled UDFA. Yes, we do a couple of undrafted free agent signings (typically 2 per team) as part of this mock.
It'll be 2 so the challenge has it ready. I know some people (looking at you @RTTRUTH) want infinite rounds.
I also like when we get all the challenge ignored players not being brought up in advance with extra UDFA rounds even if we don't count them as UDFA picks.
I think I did five in at least one of the two years where I filled in for you. The first two counted for the draft value challenge.
