Jeff came on and instead of typing a response here he texted me. Lol. I'll post his name in a minute.
New Orleans Saints Select: Shemar Turner, DT, Texas A&M I think he is the last chance in this draft to improve the d-line in New Orleans. If there was any regret in moving up, that is probably it. They definitely need to find some interior improvement on defense and I might have cost them that opportunity taking a chance at QB. So, we take the second Shemar D-Lineman from Texas A&M...
With the 73rd pick (One of Jets fans favorite jersey numbers, BTW), the New York Jets select Harold Fannin, Jr., TE, Bowling Green @StlCrtn
I think Dallas irl would choose Kaleb Johnson over Sampson- but not me I see Sampson as an eventual workhorse back that has the juice to add that explosive element to the offense
THE PHILADELPHIA EAGLES SELECT TATE RATLEDGE, G - GEORGIA @HoboRocket He was the other option I was considering when I took Watts. The Eagles have a lot of ammo next year and should get even more in comp picks so it felt like it was worth the investment. Tyler Steen looked good in limited time last year and should win the job like he did before Becton stole it after he got injured but Ratledge will push him and could be ready to take over if he slips or the Eagles move on from him after next season. At the very least it's solid young depth. I think the Eagles may be the best fit for his talents.
