I was wondering when he would go. I might be wrong on him but I personally wouldn't touch him until the 4th round at the least unless he fits the perfect gap system for him with no pulling.
If somebody wants pick 50 I'll have to hear it sooner than later. I might leave Joe a list for picks 50 and 52 since I can't wait for Cincy's full time.
In retrospect, this probably should have been my pivot for the 49ers. But in truth I don't think that they are going to go offensive line that early as much as it pains me.
I may be leaving a list. Got a free ticket earlier today for the Shane Gillis show tonight in Cleveland….so yeah, I’m gonna be a little busy tonight.
I think it's defensive line no matter what, tbh. That's just my guess though. It's a complete non starter for them if they want to actually compete this year. They can work with the offensive line as-is. Its basically the same one they've gone to multiple super bowls and championship games with. But they are legit starting Jordan Elliott and a second year UDFA at DT and Yetur Gross Matos at edge. That defense is in trouble lol.
They can get one early 2nd or on a trade up if they think either lineman is an elite prospect and a remaining DL is not. If they love a DL then sure.
I expect them to draft at least 2 in the first three rounds and as many as 3-4 in the draft as a whole. It's not a one pick fix so I think they are going to hit it hard right away and this team double dips one position in every draft. This year I think it'll be DT or Edge. I think they want to replicate what the Rams did with Verse and Fiske to rebuild that line. That's what the beat writers keep referencing. I'm expecting them to go offensive line somewhere, but I feel like it's going to be something in like round three. I'm hoping for someone specific, but I won't mention names since the mock is going on lol
The Seattle Seahawks Select Jack Sawyer, EDR - Ohio State @BowserBroncos OTC My next pick could be moved but I had to make this one.
This is why i had zero hesitation on getting Colton Loveland in round 1 for Burrow, knowing I was going to get quality DB in round 2...
Love that Bassa pick. Think there's a decent shot that he's a niner. I think they'll like him. Just waiting to hear that they have a 30 visit set up with him.
Philly would never draft him. Some team that wants to keep trying to emulate it can go right ahead and try with him.
