For that matter, it's in the best interests of the women involved if the legal proceedings get held up by useless motions for the next 18 months or so, making sure he's flush with cash.
Side note... I did my own research on the Hageman case and became more knowledgeable on the details than the general media. And the media did a really bad job with their coverage of it. The national media generally just repeated one quote from the original Atlanta Journal-Constitution story, and the AJC didn't do much to follow up after the charges were filed. One particular very well known sports web site had a writer who was truly biased against Hageman in her coverage. They had two writers hit it, but neither of them ever bothered to look into details of the legal proceedings. Those details painted a VERY different picture of the whole story. Kinda makes me want to reach out to the Falcons beat writer at the AJC at some point (Daryl Lebetter, who's actually a really cool guy) and discuss it with him if he has the time.
That's pretty ridiculous. Seriously doubt that's on the agenda for these girls. I'm guessin you don't have any daughters?
I'm not sure when it's settled means a lot for the payout. But I think all he meant TD was what's done is done, and at least in terms of the "Civil" lawsuits it's in the victim's best interests to collect more money going forward, not less.
Have you ever dug into the details of the legal filings on any of these cases? The concept of "sensitive" doesn't apply.
eh fuck it... At least Chauvin guilty on all 3 and the country won't burn down tonight. I'm happy with that.
Do you see what happens J-E-T-S when you leave us to our own devices?? We crumble. Draft someone!! LOL
