He's all yours. Hey I haven't mentioned it yet. But you should put an entry into both of these contests. They are fun. https://live4sportnetwork.com/forum/threads/2020-draft-value-challenge.29242/ https://live4sportnetwork.com/forum/threads/tds-2020-draft-projection-contest.29241/
INDIANAPOLIS COLTS MAIN GOALS: 1) Add explosive options on offensive side of ball 2) Continue to prioritize the trenches (without sacrificing priority one) 3) Do not reach to fill needs / Continue to build quality depth 2 (2) Denzel Mims - WR - Baylor 2(12) Lucas Niang - OT - TCU 3(11) Brycen Hopkins - TE - Purdue 4(16) Jalen Hurts - QB - Oklahoma 5(14) Reggie Robinson II - CB - Tulsa 6(14) Joe Reed - KR / WR - Virginia 7 (8) Zach Shackelford - C - Texas 7(21) Rico Dowdle - RB - South Carolina UDFA Kyle Murphy - OT - Rhode Island UDFA Jaequan Williams - DT - Michigan St ----------------------- *Gained 2021 6th Round Pick (ARZ) DRAFT REVIEW: We largely succeeded I believe. In regards to goal #1 Mims is a guy who has had a great pre-draft process and has shown enough ability to threaten as a #1 WR. At the least the selections of Mims, Brycen Hopkins, and Joe Reed should provide some more options in the passing game behind T.Y. Hilton, Parris Campbell and Jack Doyle. In regards to goal #2 I might be happiest of all. To me Lucas Niang is a high quality swing backup who likely earns a starting role by 2021. He provides a ton of power and ability in the ground game, which our coaching staff will continue to use to provide balance to our offense and take pressure off of whomever starts at QB in 2020 or 21. I stayed true to focusing on goal #1 by waiting until the 7th round and UDFA to add even more options to compete for depth jobs on the OL, which I think will have the end result of putting the best 9 or 10 on the roster going into the regular season. I think both Shackelford and Kyle Murphy are balanced enough players to potentially earn backup roles going forward. If not, they should at least push incumbent reserves to work harder in camp, knowing there is competition for those jobs. In terms of our tertiary goal, I think we did a good job getting some falling talent in guys like Reggie Robinson II, Joe Reed, Jalen Hurts, and Jaequan Williams. To top that off we added one extra pick to the cupboard for the 2021 draft. Final Thoughts: The closest I came to changing a pick was taking WR Van Jefferson (ironically picked immediately after) instead of QB Jalen Hurts. I think Jefferson is a great route runner and could have been a solid 3rd or 4th option. Ultimately though, I thought Jalen Hurts could help our football team and was an excellent value. I have visions of him being potentially the successor to Phillip Rivers, and with a year to refine technique and learn from the bench I believe has shown enough talent to succeed. He's a bit of a polarizing prospect but I think he's got the mental makeup to surprise some people with time to learn and a coaching staff smart enough to tailor things a bit to his game. At the very least, for a team in win-now mode I think we could work in a package for him (1-5 plays per game) just to try and throw something unexpected at defenses. Overall I focused on our offense this draft because it was pretty bad last year, and our defense has made big strides the last couple years, plus big trades (DeForest Buckner for 13th overall), plus biggish signings (Xavier Rhodes, T.J. Carrie, Sheldon Day), so I think the real team has the same plan. Reinforce the D pre-draft, hammer the offense throughout the draft. The END RESULT should be a balanced football team methodically throwing everything it can at a shot for the Superbowl this year without mortgaging too much of the future.

That’s pretty damn good UD. First 5 all have the potential to make an impact sooner than later, or just excellent value. Actually like Windsor a lot too
Falcons: Top five needs = starting caliber LB, edge rusher, run stuffing DT, another linebacker for depth, backup center. Media lists OG as top need but I question that - the team did not keep its pure zone linemen in the offseason, suggesting that they're going to more of a man blocking scheme this year. If so, they're fine with James Carpenter, Chris Lindstrom and Jamon Brown as the top three guards. Started with 6 total picks. 1.16 K'Lavon Chaisson, EDGE, LSU 2.15 Akeem Davis-Gaither, LB, Appalachian State 4.2 Raekwon Davis, DT, Clemson 4.13 Jake Fromm, QB, Georgia 4.36 Davian Taylor, LB, Colorado 6.23 Keith Ismael, C, San Diego State 7.14 Antoine Brooks Jr, S, Maryland 7.15 Josiah Scott, CB, Michigan State UDFA Tremayne Anchrum, G, Clemson UDFA Mykal Walker, LB, Fresno State + 2021 4th round pick
Gettleman spent a lot of money in free agency to marginally improve the roster over what he started last season with. Lots of like for like exchanges. James Bradberry replaces Janoris Jenkins, Blake MArtinez replaces Alec Ogletree, Kyle Fackrell replaces Markus Golden, and Leo Williams gets tagged because Gettleman traded a 3rd for him in a lost season and is trying to save face. That left the Giants with not much cap space and a roster that doesn't feel all that different. I HAD to fix the line and add team speed I think I did both here. I probably could have done a better job of taking advantage of a deep WR class. I know Wills is a RT -- but at this point, to me, a tackle is a tackle and the Giants needed two of them. So I took the guy I see as the best tackle even though he lines up on the right. Ruiz walks in as the best center the Giants have seen in a decade and Heck adds depth and I think can turn into an NFL player. Dye gives me an actual off ball backer who can rotate in situationally early in his career and with the fatties the Giants have up front he should be able to just focus on what he does well. I would have loved to trade back at either 4 or 36 but no real opportunities turned up so I just went with what was in front of me. I fear a similar situation will face the Giants on actual draft day. 1.4: Jedrick Wills, OT, Alabama 2.4: Cesar Ruiz, C, Michigan 3.35: Darrell Taylor, Edge, Tennessee 4.4: Troy Dye, ILB, Oregon 5.4: Brandon Jones, S, Texas 6.4: Charlie Heck, OT, North Carolina 7.4: Lawrence Cager, WR, UGA 7.24: Stantley Thomas-Oliver III, DB, FIU 7.33: Joey Magnifico, TE, Memphis 7.41: Joe Deleon, LS, URI (Mr Irrelevant)
