He obviously has talent as he was mocked as high as the first round not too long ago (that being said I thought that was silly even as a fan). However, he tanked his already questionable athletic profile at the combine. We’ll give him a shot to see if the talent can outshine the athleticism level and/or if we can improve his athleticism some. In a draft that isn’t so deep at the position I think he still gets drafted.

 

Waiting for UDFA to get him = perfect. The red flags are obvious, but so is the upside.

 

I'm not the least bit surprised that the rehearsal hit snags at the outset. I would have been REALLY surprised if they made it halfway through the first round and then had a glitch. Now the GMs are figuring out how to hit the mute button, which will help on Thursday.

I don't know the mechanics of what they are setting up, but I hope it's multiple separate layers. Lots of pieces that way, but also lots of backup plans.
