No doubt about that... Obviously, I'm willing to stick my neck out on Haskins. We'll see how it goes. If I'm wrong about him, I'll live with it... I hope he lands in a great situation, but certainly it's not gonna be like what he had in college...
I’m saying the separation won’t be as easy for Haskins as it was at Ohio St....his margin for error was much bigger than Murray, Jones and Lock
I'm not loving the way the draft unfolded for the Bills. I should have been bold enough to find a way up to get Quinnen Williams. Then Ed Oliver went off the board just before their pick at #9; the Bills then somewhat hastily traded down with the Miami. I don't know if the Bills got good value in that trade, but we recouped a 4th used to trade for Duke Johnson + an extra 7th. I love Hockenson on this team, so I'm happy.
Do you feel you met a team need at #13 every bit as well as you would have at #9? If so, you made a hell of a good trade.
I took Christian Wilkins and a TE later when I had the Bills in the last mock, without trading back. Hock is a solid pick. They need a solid TE.
I drafted Christian Wilkins to help anchor the interior. He joins Grady Jarrett, Jack Crawford and Deadrin Senat in the DT group. Meanwhile back at the ranch, Adrian Clayborn has agreed to terms to rejoin the Falcons. He joins Vic Beasley, Takk McKinley and Steven Means at DE.
Yeah. There are two other TE's I would be happy to see in a Bills uniform for real. But I think Hocks is the class of the TE class.
Redskins select D.K. Metcalf, WR - Mississippi Gotta swing for the fences on a #1 WR this team hasn’t had in a long time
