And frankly, the last five years have been the hardest. I lost a brother making me the last one standing from my family. I had a stroke and lost about 60% of the dexterity in my left hand (I've had a 64 year old boat in my garage now for coming up on 10 years waiting for me to complete the restoration). For all intent and purposes, I lost a son (I won't go into details). I've already attended memorial services for most of my close friends. On the brighter side . . . I have 10 wonderful Grandchildren and 4 (soon to be 5) precious Great-Grandchildren. And, the Browns appear to be back !!!!
To finish round 7 Giants select Trevon Wesco - FB - West Virginia Vikings select Calvin Anderson - OT - Texas Vikings select Andrew Beck - FB/TE - Texas
This is the sign up sheet for the 6th annual Live 4 Sport Network NFL Draft Contest! https://live4sportnetwork.com/forum/threads/6th-annual-live-4-sport-network-nfl-draft-contest.21476/
I was going to have an OT be my first UDFA signing, but the real team "sniped" me yet again. They signed a free agent tackle yesterday. They're busier in free agency now than they were when free agency first started. It's nice to see them plugging holes, but it made the draft strategy really awkward.
If I take someone already signed/drafted then let me know. I am on the road. I'll likely just make most of my picks later.
The contest idea that I've had in mind for a few years is similar to the "regular" one, except a bit backwards. Instead of picking a couple of guys from each round that you think will rise or fall, it's based on a specific block of players (say, the 4th round) and everyone guesses whether each player will rise or fall. The idea is that everyone is competing on exactly the same players, and there's no escaping any specific player.
Can someone make a post of all the signed players (and the late autos)? Just so people can reference.
Falcons sign Jesse Burkett, C, Stanford (Pure need pick! We need someone on the practice squad to snap the ball for the scout team offense.)
