Sorry Joe. I made a mistake...

I saw where you had posted that Quew was OTC...I scrolled up and saw this:

Detroit Lions select Emeke Egbule, LB, Houston

and I thought that was his pick...my bad

 

Lol. The Jets were a good excuse for goofing but it was an old pick by the Lions that did it. Tsk Tsk.

 

It was actually you that messed me up Joe...You put out the @TopDawg and I took that as I was OTC. lol!

 

Based on this, I had an outstanding draft. The Falcons entered with 3 picks in the top 100 (#14, 45 and 79 overall). Five of my drafted players are listed in the top 100 (#11, 28, 77, 90, 93), one more is just outside (#106), and I also landed two future 3rd round picks and a future 4th.

 

On the post directly after saying @quew on the clock. He usually picks quickly but I guess he went to bed.

 

Well, yeah. I wasn't going to check at 12:21 am for a pick I had a time slot for 11:00 am the next day.

 

I know.. It was early. I wasn't fully awake yet...I thought we were on Detroit, and then I confused myself. lol! If he wants one of my guys, it's his.

 

I already picked today. But was initially confused because people after me picked while my time slot wasn't time yet. As you know its not 11am yet.

The Buffalo Bills select Alex Bars, OL, Notre Dame.

 

I like this draft a lot Paddy. Allen is a Freak. I like the double up OL after that, glaring need and good value on both. Lonnie is a nice developmental CB and I’m actually a fan of Wesley too. Some of the best WR run blocking I’ve seen on tape this year. And considering how devalued they can be in these mocks, I respect anyone who spends a pick on a PK or Punter. Always risky, but when you don’t have a kicker, your W/L column tends to be affected.

A) I respect the hell out of what it takes to put something like that together, time and dedication.
B) We agree on more than you think. I know we joked about it last year.
C) Now to nitpick the hell out of your rankings....

The Miami Dolphins select:

Dexter Williams, RB, Notre Dame

 

I very much considered him for both the Bears and Skins last picks.

But ultimately, with so few picks I didn’t want to double dip RBs for the Bears (took Trayveon). And the Skins have AP and Guice (bigger guys), but their pass catcher (C.Thompson) hasn’t proven healthy, so I opted for the smaller and more nimble (once recovered) Bryce Love.

Good pick Miami!
