I've always been pretty meh on fleaflicker...it has the most options for customization of all the free sites which is nice, but also by far the worst interface.
what customization does it have? i don't think it has much at all. the site seems crude and barbaric. yahoo.com has done a ton of work to make their site better and it clearly is. their mobile app is second to none as well!
I mean for a commish setting up a league...ff gives you a lot more options for customizable scoring, lineups, division and playoff formats, etc., than other free sites.
i disagree. the lineups changing is silly. you gotta bench a player to swap him out. gotta put a guy on the bench and then to DL. it's not smooth at all. you gotta take a guy off as a starter and out a f/a you acquired on the bench and then swap him out for the starter, who is now on the bench? it's way too much.
Its not too late to start another League somewhere... we can have 2, no problem. Yahoo might be cool.
Overall I feel the site is workable. For someone who does not play in multiple leagues it may put them at a disadvantage. I have to research on other sites who my two start pitchers are (which maybe I am just an idiot who has not figured the site out), but for those who do not play on different sites, you have no clue who the 2 starts guys are. In a points league, this information is very crucial IMHO. Other than that, I really have no beefs with the site.
Also, this is a minimal inconvenience but once the rosters lock for the week, they do not move on to the next week. We have to click "next week" until Monday. Why on Sunday do I have to still view my roster for the week on hand. It was set, nothing is going to change.
I'm a big fan of Fleaflicker. I actually like the differences other sites bring too. But as far as I'm concerned we will continue this season on Flea...

Sure it is a weekly line-up. Wow, how hard can that be. I lost my catcher on Monday and a starting pitcher went on the DL. I change my line-up for the next week and still win over the bestest fantasy baseballer ever. Um, the 1-5 chumbait.

all leagues a different, you read the rules and draft accordingly. this isn't the websites problem. I always draft hitters over pitchers. Gimme something cheap like Cole.
i guess im just used to yahoo.com site so much. when Will took 3 out of the 4 top pitchers in his first 4 picks, the top pitchers were gone. i went shopping for hitters. it's only early May. tons of time to right the ship. you're 1000% right....the rules are not the sites fault. just the management of swapping guys and especially from the waiver wire to your lineup is bulky and clumsy. i can change 3 lineups in Yahoo.com in the same time it takes me to change 1 lineup on FF.
