Gerald Sensabaugh isn't with Dallas any more. And I'm trying my best to forget him. :)

  2. My bad...it was Scandrick they were calling out.

  3. Dallas gets hit with the injury bug every year it seems and still I think Rob Ryan got a bum rap by JJ.

I am liking Terrance Williams though.

Him lining up on the other side of Dez creates a great WR tandem.

It's been three years running now where Dallas is in the top 10 in most man-games lost to injury. Just crazy.

Terrance Williams was my "Mr. Irrelevant" in one of my two fantasy leagues (interestingly, Jordan Cameron was the other - maybe I should just wait until the 16th round to draft). I knew he was eventually going to take over for Miles Austin, just didn't know that was going to come THIS year. He's got a nice knack of stretching the defense.

Scandrick's actually played pretty well this year. The whole team gets an "F" for that performance against the Saints.

  6. I see Austin getting the ole heave ho at the end of the year. He hasn't played very much at all after getting that mega contract.

The guy just can't stay healthy for longer than a few days.

Austin's definitely gone. With Dez and T-Will as the starters, Witten at TE, and Cole Beasley (and Dwayne Harris) in the slot, receiving targets should be just fine.

  8. Dwayne Harris is the real deal.

What a gamer....always wants the ball and always around it.

LOVE what Dwayne Harris is bringing to the table. I'd like to see him more involved in the passing game, too -- I think he (and Cole Beasley) could be VERY effective as slot receivers.

  10. Williams is a real diamond in the rough coming out of ther 3rd round. I saw a piece on him recently on either ESPN or NFL Network. Pretty good piece.

Said he always wanted to play for the Cowboys. During the draft he got the call but almost didn't answer the phone as he thought it was one of his friends...but he answered it anyway.

I could have sworn they said it was JJ on the other end of the phone asking him if he wanted to be a Cowboy.

With he and Dez you have something really special there. Romo is having a pretty good year and has not really made many mistakes so far.

I'm definitely impressed with him. Wasn't expecting much production this year, but with Austin injured (as usual), he's been great. Supposedly has an excellent work ethic, too.

He actually wasn't my first choice when Dallas came to pick in the 3rd round -- I wanted Keenan Allen. Allen's doing great in SD, but in retrospect, Williams probably is a better fit in that he's a field stretcher, something Dallas needed.

It has the potential to be a devastating combo -- hoping so, as I have both on my fantasy squad! And Romo's been very good this year in keeping turnovers to a minimum. Seeing how porous the defense is, that's gonna need to continue.

  12. Hey. Romo went toe to toe with Peyton and actually outplayed him. Had it not been for the 1 pass the Cowboys walk out with a Win.

He did. But that's classic Romo - he can look like the best QB in the game one week, but then he'll toss in a game where he throws 3 of the most embarrassing and amateurish INTs you've ever seen. As well as he's played this year, I STILL cringe when I think about last year's season-ender against the Skins.

  14. Based on what I have seen, at least in the first part of the season Romo may have turned the corner in the performance category. He has really minimized the mistakes so far and has found that diamond in the rough extra receiver in Williams. Beasley has also been a pleasant 3rd down slot receiver and an additional weapon.

So far it is looking up and will continue as long as the defense holds up their end of the bargain. But unfortunately injuries have really hit the defense hard so far this year.

So far so good with Romo. But I'm going to withhold judgment as to whether he's "turned the corner" until I see him in critical late-season action. He's actually been up-and-down in recent years with the INT totals. He was up last year (19), but down in 2011 (10). High again in 2010 (7 in 6 games before going on IR), low in 2009 (9).
