but that's what Americans are saying about Kap for kneeling during the NATIONAL ANTHEM! They see what he is doing as a disrespect to the flag and what it stands for. That's my thing - go about what you're doing in a different way. Don't dishonor the flag or anthem. Do something else to protect against police brutality. Wear a ribbon. Put a sticker decal on your helmet. Put a note on your spikes. Anything but disrespect the flag and anthem! That's why people are so pissed at him! I go to a lot of sporting events and at every single one I witness a lot of people in the stands during the anthem that don't take off their hats...that talk on their phones during the anthem...drink beer and do a dozen other things rather than stand and face the flag with their hand over their heart. None of them are doing it for a cause....they're doing it because they are ignorant morons. Yet, a lot of them are probably the same people that will complain about Kap and other players sitting or kneeling during the anthem. The anthem is just a song. The flag is just a piece of cloth. Neither is more important than social or economic injustice. Neither is more important than the lives of people...black, blue, or any other color. Saying is he disrespecting the country is silly. The President of this country disrespects the people.....the leaders that govern this country have been disrespecting the people for years. Until the day every citizen is equal and not treated differently because of how much money is in their bank account this is going to be true. The real issue is more Americans care about what's gonna happen on the next episode of the Kardashian's than they do about police brutality or any other social issue. Babies starving in the ghetto? If you read stats instead you may miss details. His first 3 game of 16 were very bad. Lynch would have cut him for cap reasons just on Kaep's play. He didn't play better than many expected. He played worse than what you're saying. It was in print here when he left his contract. He wanted to start and get over 11 a season. That was a tip from his rep. Now he says he never said that. Did he ever say how much? Now that he is still waiting on the phone he says he never said that but still hasn't said how much. What should I know? Más que tú? I think so.

Based on how he last played in SF.....how many teams would he realistically start on right now? And then you have to remove teams like the Bears that have a shitty QB but have a young QB waiting in the wings. No team wants a circus surrounding their backup QB. I can't think of one team where you say....drop Kap in as the starter and they are instantly better.
My main issue with Kaepernick is his seeming unwillingness to make changes/adjustments to his game. His accuracy (under 60% career) and his touch were always questionable; then when he comes out and says things like "Mechanics are -- I'm not huge on them" and "You have to be able to change arm angles, especially on underneath throws to throw around linemen, to throw into window; I don't look at film that closely about mechanics of where my elbow is at," it raises red flags for me. Is he going to put in time to improve certain areas of his game, or is he just going to try to rely on his natural athleticism?
