Hopefully Bell plays a glorious game as tribute to his first child! I wouldn't be surprised to see Green on the field to stretch the middle of the field in certain situations. James can't stretch a defense the way Green can. Last week the Chiefs tried to take Bell out of the screen game with the MLB and at times a safety. Pittsburgh exposed it with some passes to James. Green can force the Patriots to leave the safety deeper rather than coming down to help with Bell.
Green also spoke with the media for the first time...something that isn't supposed to happen until a player has been cleared from the concussion protocol. So I would expect him to have a helmet on Sunday night even if he doesn't start. THAT is exciting news! He is a perfect red zone target and this team needs that desperately! He can also exploit the seam that is bound to be left when the Pats sell out to stop Bell and Brown.
I get that all the time. 24 hours later I'm right as rain again. It shouldn't be that big an issue especially since Boswell was reportedly the only guy affected who might have an impact on the game.
It was reported that Green also had the flu yesterday which is why he didn't practice and was limited today. Its been reported that as many as 15 players have dealt with symptons of some kind, but none are expected to be affected by Sunday.
James Harrison is listed as Questionable with a shoulder and triceps injury. Lets all hope Debo can go out and get after the Patriots this Sunday. James has been a huge part of the improved defensive play. His ability to rush the passer and still defend the run is so important to the defense.
