Improvements

Tim-massive problems today with the site and my work PC. The PC is getting Firefox updates and the site works but then goes to a screen with a blue alligator on it and says SITE ERROR 404 NOT FOUND?

404 NOT FOUND - Error Page-This is what i found on it ?

 

Hostgator is making updates to their servers and service throughout the next several days. Errors like this will probably be commonplace until they have completed it.

There is a bug in the code that I’m working on so hopefully it won’t be too long until I get it fixed.

 

Hey so I just wanted to mention how much easier the website is to navigate. All of these little add-ons really make for an easier and happier experience. I like the notification number on the tab of the page. That's really cool.

Tim-every day when I post it should a little box with 3 lines going back and forth waiting to post my post. then I hit POST REPLY and it says wait 25 seconds, so I do and when it posts, it posts my post twice. if I go back and edit one of them to delete it, it will remove both of them. I just posted after a 10 min break and my post would not post and told me to wait another 25 seconds. why is it doing this? it usually happens if I post back to back quickly, which I don't understand either. why is it not posting immediately and asking me to wait or removing it completely if I delete out a duplicate post ?

 

Your browser is trying to force cache the page. Instead of posting your post twice, simply refresh the page after you post the first time and you should see your new post.

The 3 bars in the upper right hand corner show that your post has been sent to the site and it is waiting for your browser to update. Because your browser is trying to cache the page it will not refresh at the regular intervals or when it is being sent the confirmation from the site.

Tough to say. Some browsers change their settings when they update. Others simply don't interact well with certain sites.

I have my desktop stripped down and running some really old browsers so that it flies when I'm doing some of the stuff I have to do to keep the lights on here.

What browser you working with?

 

Internet Explorer. We are up to date on all current software.

Lyman and I told Larry that he needs to ask you about this but I'm not sure if he did or not.

 

i want more flags too. i like the old format with many flags. haha.

 

I'm working on a new format for the medals that would display like a grid where users would be able to choose up to 9 different or repeating medals.

It will have the ability for users to choose their own from a list, but right now my time is too limited to finish this up so it probably won't be done until next June at the earliest.
