Why in the fuck were the Bears on Saturday? I was out and about and checked my score app and saw the Bears down 0-6, and thought to myself, it's probably better I DIDN'T know this game was on. Saved myself 3 hours of pissed off frustration. I'd love you guys to tell me what I missed. Seems like the Offense sputtered again, and Trubs with 3 picks??? WTF??
Horrific scheming even at a HS level… bad execution… /AKA Fox & Co. being Fox & Co. Occasionally a good play followed immediately by a penalty, a negative play or just ineptitude all around. Even on the final drive for the lonely TD with the Lions in prevent Bears still needed 107 yards to score. That’s not a typo. The drive was that penalty ridden. Basically this was the final prep to give the Browns their first win next week… Trust me.
Pretty said. I had shit to do tonight so I didn't watch much after the 1st quarter. I didn't think about the game at all all night until just now. Didn't miss anything. Awesome.
If the Bears have done one thing for me, it's give me no problem with working weekends. Rather than spending $30-$50 and wasting most of my day at a bar, I'm making $100+ working and relaxing. And, given how much the Bears suck, I end up in a much better mood, afterwords. My life has gotten significantly better since I stopped bothering to pay attention to this team. I'm looking forward to watching them again, when they've earned it. Fox is gone at the end of the season. If it weren't for Trubisky, Pace would be gone, too. Personally, that's not a good enough reason for me, but I know it is for this ownership. I hope Pace proves me wrong, and I do think he's improving. But he owns this shitshow.
So more or less a copy of every game this season eh? I could see the Browns being favored this week. How did the Bears beat the Steelers? That's one of their two losses?? I do know one thing, I am sure as shit not paying for DirecTV Sunday Ticket next year. I'll catch national Bears games.
