I certainly don't want to see ANYONE suffer at the hands of political violence. I also don't want to see someone gain momentum from an obviously disturbed individual based on the fact the bullet missed by 6 inches. I am thankful Trump wasn't hurt badly, but just as hurt at the spectator that lost his life merely by being at a rally for his chosen candidate.

I would much rather see more news on the survivors and how the country has been helping the poor soul's family cope with their loss (because monetarily, they are going to be helped in a way most people who lose their loved ones are not), than seeing Trump's fist raised in the air telling everyone to "fight, fight, fight".

 

You go on believing the bs handed to you by the media. That shouldn’t have happened. There should have been police stationed on the building number one, number two people saw the shooter on the rooftop twenty minutes before Trump was fired at. Yea Trump pumping his fist is appropriate because the shooter was allowed to shoot when it could have been prevented. They shouldn’t have even let him take the stage until the person on top of the building was removed.
Don’t believe me listen to the news, they have said it about a million times that they knew someone was inappropriately on there for at least twenty minutes. This was an assassination attempt by the democrats and now it’s going to cost them the election because most of the country is now in Trump’s corner.

If you want to get into this, we can. I don't believe bs handed to you by the media, but right back at ya buddy... Don't buy into all the rhetoric that interest groups feed you.

Were there mistakes? Absolutely, it starts with the outside perimeter being taken care of by local law enforcement, not equipped to handle the situation. They were stationed TO the building, but they were inside the building instead of on top of it, because the pitch of the rood put them into a state where the union deemed it unsafe for the officers. The buildings inside the perimeter were handled by an outside security firm, and they had no issues with a pitch of a roof. This should have never happened, but more importantly, ALL aspects of security should be on the same page and able to act as a single unit. Just because the inside perimeter team was not responsible for the outside perimeter buildings, should not keep them from being able to act immediately. But, that's how this detail was set up.

I don't take any issue with a fist pump in the air letting everyone know he is resilient and ok... My issue comes with inciting a crowd to "fight fight fight". He needs to be more aware... That was his first thought?, Tell the massive crowd gathered to "fight"?


I don't disagree in the least that if everyone had done their jobs, this guy should never had been able to make his way to the roof, let alone get any shots off.

This is the rhetoric I eluded to above... This wasn't a trained 20 year old assassin, he was simply an ASS who has no moral compass. Don't you think the democrats, if they were looking to assassinate him, could have found a much more capable person to do it?

They have found absolutely no background on this kid affiliating himself with any organization, terrorist or otherwise.. other than he is a registered republican and he donated to a couple of democratic pacs... This kid was disturbed, plain and simple and the local law enforcement was inept.

Now this gets really interesting..........Joe Biden has bailed on running for the White House.....this is good news for the Democrats but I don't think Harris can beat Trump ?....so we shall see who they nominate as their new leader.

There is never a dull moment in US Politics......and this just got the heat turned up today and will be very interesting to see who runs against Trump.

 

OK. What's next?

1) Harris? What has she done as VP? She's not very popular whit the Dems or the general population. What has she done/accomplished? Trump is going to eat her alive on that question.

2) Hillary? Both she and Bill just came out with their support for Harris. She's out.

3) Kennedy? The power brokers that be in the Dem party won't allow that to happen.

4) Newsome? California is a mess and the rest of the country knows it. And I think that he doesn't want to walk onto this mess. Wait 4 years. I would.

So here I sit with a big old s**t eating grin on my face. This is going to be fun to watch.

 

I think the country is going to back republican big time this election. Smart people know that the dems were behind the assassination attempt . They could have easily removed Trump from the stage and avoided the deaths and injuries.

You actually believe that don't you Gidi..........which surprises me as you are from Washington State and 73 % of Washington voters voted for the Democratic Party in 2020.

I get it you are a Republican and do not like the Democrats..........But I suppose your going to tell us the Democrats hired Thomas Matthew Crooks and supplied him with an AR 15 to assassinate the former President.

But you are a smart person Gidi and you know what happened that eventful day....even though the shooter is Dead and he had NO motive to Kill Trump......But you know because your a smart person.
