The only thing I can think of is the fact we get the dud game out of the way. We know they can't put together more than 3 or 4 good games in a row.
I bet the pre game speech was something like. "I just got off the phone with Chip Kelly and he assured me that the Eagles will sit all thier starters and will not make any attempt to win this game as they would love for his favorite childhood team the Bears to win the division." right now Trestman is muttering Fing Kelly to himself.
