I was gonna ask why you weren't gonna draft a kicker you can get stolen off your practice squad.

 

The Arizona Cardinals select: RB - Jordan Chunn, Troy

 

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers select: OG - Salesi "shit just give me any guard" Uhatafe, Utah

 

The World Champion Philadelphia Eagles are on the clock for Mr. Irrelevant.

 

As the Dallas fans that stuck around to the end are getting ready to go the Eagles get up to select who gets a parade as Mr. Irrelevant. But speaking of parades, time to piss off some Cowboys.

 

Thanks for the feedback, I appreciate it! It's my first mock offseason thing so I'm sure it wasn't perfect but I'm happy the value that I got.

To be honest, even though I picked him, I'm not 100% sold on Jackson. It was sort of a panic move to get a QB towards the end of the first to pick him up after missing the top QBs before my first pick. When I made the pick, I wasn't 100% considering whether the Jets are the best fit for him as you say. The potential idea now is to allow him to sit behind two (mildly) competent QBs in Bortles and McCown and see whether he's good enough to build a team around. If we don't think he is then it's kind of a wasted pick but it's a reasonable risk to take for a possible franchise quarterback. In the real draft, I think Jackson could go anywhere from a top 5 pick to the end of the 2nd. It only takes one team to fall in love with him for him to go higher than expected.

As stated earlier, the value at WR was redonkulous.

 

Because he probably goes in the 7th round?

 

I thought it was already set up by division in the UDFA section? There are times and everything.

 

I knew someone would say that. I think he goes much earlier though.

Staring at this board I feel it may be the most f'd up on where people go of all our mocks ever. So many probably end up going much earlier or much alter, if at all. Just watch.

 

It could be, but as we add more fans to represent their teams it definitely changes the dynamic for the better.

Although WR was devalued in this one, the QB prospects were much more realistically valued.

 

No surefire #1 this year, but lots of mid round guys. All flavors.

We've had mocks before with as many unique owners as this one. I think it just has to do with no real consensus among people as to the ratings of players. Just look at the media. Usually they are more or less grouped together in similar tiers. Not this year. All over the place. Feels more realistic, genuine.

I didn't even look into positional rankings until late in the process just to get a feel as to where others may grab people.

 

If anyone thinks of calling BS and that I've looked before, I have seen mock drafts and some projections on individual players before. I just didn't look at rankings lists.

 

I wish I had the time one year to rank 150-200 players before even seeing a list, projection, or doing a mock draft. But that will never happen. Watching vids non-stop on the weekends and after work at night, I’ve probably still only scouted 120 guys this year. 120 x 3games each = 360 vids x 5 minutes each (avg) = 1800 minutes or 30 hours.

Yikes! And I’m not being paid for this.
Fun hobby though. LOL
