    Torgo. Nice to see us going back to important things like drafting punters in the 5th round.

    Last guy on your team or mine? Either way, you aren’t wrong. We’re a bit crowded on the DL in Indy (no one fought me for anyone in FA). I got 3 DE weapons at vet min (Hayes, Autry, C.Johnson). Then drafted Chubb. From a relative weakness to a definite strength.

    TE and DL are now the deepest spots on our roster

    I'm pretty deep everywhere but that's what happens when you don't have many FAs and bring guys back and add a few others onto a SB winning team. No disrespect meant at all on the offer. Ridgeway was the better player, but maybe not the better one for your roster after your moves.

    In case anyone was wondering . . .

    The Bengals are OTC.

    "Sure, Bumfoot Ward for Brickhands Johnson. Done."

    @LAOJoe
    No disrespect taken. And you aren’t wrong about better shot at sticking, potentially.

    But on his rookie contract, and with his skill set, unless a “good” (proven) player comes back, Ridgeway definitely gets a chance to be part of a rotation in our new scheme. Hell, he might be a better play than Mo Hurst this year

    He drags his leg back to his hometown. Maybe he can earn that last roster spot.

    Defending the title is even harder...Chargers are gonna punch 'em in the face, and knock 'em down the "Rocky" steps...

    Swans? That makes me wonder how I didn't remember the name from the AFL. Sydney is one of the teams I follow pretty closely, and their developmental coach is one of my favorite former Swans players (Tadgh Kennelly - one of the first Irishmen to head Down Under, which has become a bit of a trend like having Aussies coming here as punters),

    My roster is complete, and there's only one item remaining on my list of needs - an offensive assistant who has experience working with WRs.

    7th rounder (#244) still being offered. Anyone interested?

    Well Chris Ballard is making his mark. After a low-key trade with the Browns and some quick calculations, if all my newly acquired/drafted players make the team I have flipped one-third of our roster in an offseason.

    I don’t think they will all make the team. But it’s aggressive nonetheless

    This touches on a bind I'm in now - whoever I might take with my two remaining picks will almost certainly not make the roster, and the one remaining college player that I would want to bring to camp is a certain UDFA (with at least half a dozen suitable UDFA alternatives), so using a pick on him would be somewhat irresponsible. Almost as bad as, say, trading the pick for a WR assistant coach...

    So I'm mulling over what to do with the picks. From a long term perspective, trading them both for better future picks would probably be the best thing to do. Not sure I really want to do that with both picks though, since I already did it with my 5th rounder. It would seem like I was just mailing it in on the rest of the draft. Which would be true, though it would actually be a good move from a roster perspective.

    Your other option is just swinging at some good practice squad guys
