My lineup is already complete, so Averett won't have to compete for a while. We lost most of our developmental CBs, including former 2nd rounder Jalen Collins, so Averett helps to rebuild that pipeline.


FYI - Collins is available as a free agent. If anyone needs to add depth to their reserve/suspended list, he's a proven commodity with three suspensions in the last two seasons.

 

With the 91st pick, the New Orleans Saints select:

DaShawn Hand, DE - Alabama

 

Steelers select...

Genard Avery, ILB Memphis

I had to fax in a payment and signature and they said a week later that it didn't go through. Now they say since the signature is in I can just call the card in again. They think they goofed but WTF.

 

Glad I got Freeman. I did bring Blount back and Clement has become a key guy but Ajayi is a FA next year and Blount is on the vet min so I needed to get a RB relatively early.
