John Carlson has an incredible 43 points in 32 games as a D-man. He's on pace to surpass 100 points and I'm not even sure who the last defenseman to do that (Lidstrom?), let alone a US born player.

 

Well, I take back mentioning Lidstrom as he never had more than 80 pts in a season.

 

Ok, Paul Coffey (oilers) had two seasons with over 100 points in 89 and 90, Gretzky wasn't on his team.

 

For a D to get over 100 pts in 2019 would be an accomplishment.
