If the Sabres never played on Thursdays this season then they would have a 23-13-8 record, for a fun stat .614 ave. pts. per game.

Unfortunately today is Thursday, and the sad fact is they are 1-10-2 on Thursdays. WTF?! They're playing the Avs right now. They lead 1-0 in the 2nd.

I'm nervous.

 

Normally it would not be fun to cite a 2-10-2 season record for Thursday games. But since the Sabres started this Thursday with a 1-10-2 record, that's a fun stat.

I was so ticked when he scored on Chicago.
I don't think his contract will be in the way for a few years. His salary is frontloaded with bonus payments. I think he'll be somewhat easy to unload for the last 2 or 3 years when his cap hit really gets in the way.

In the meantime, I hope he sucks.

i think this contract is a loser right off the hop. the early $8m per payout has to hurt Edmonton now, and then when McDavid gets his whack outside of the ELC theyre gonna be tighter and Bigfat is gonna still suck.
