I just looked at the standings. If truck nutz scored half a point more, I would have been in the postseason to defend my glory, then again, Komarov started their zombie lineup last week. 2nd in pts for, 1st in points against. I missed setting my lineup a few times earlier in the year. I deserved my fate. Good luck to those fighting for glory!!
Huh? I'm not following this so I could be reading this the wrong way. But isn't this like say that the Buffalo Sabres only lost a playoff spot last year due to points? They did get 54, after all!
no dan k you are reading it wrong, but how i phrased it is confusing so *REF* on me. me and the div winner had the same record but he had more points scored, which is really more points his players scored over mine - 763.8 vs 719.60 so i lost on a tie breaker: Gary is a h o m o 14 10 0 0.583 0 W1 5-4-0 3 763.8 97.6 715.8 The Sega Hockey 93 All-Stars 14 10 0 0.583 0 W2 6-3-0 0 719.6 141.8 679.7
What's interesting about this is just how dramatically improved the Sabres' Corsi Differential is compared to last season. Of course the '14-'15 team was putrid.
Datsyuk is one assist from becoming just the fourth player in Red Wings history to join 300/600/900 club for goals, assists and points.
This day 1982: Oilers Wayne Gretzky scores his 92nd goal, still ? and forever? ? NHL record for goals in a season.
Leafs are 6-3-1 in their last 10 games, best in the league, yes, it looks like they'll screw up the tank.
This Date in NHL History: March 28 1967: Stan Mikita sets single-season assist mark 1980: Don Cherry records final coaching win
that sucks skinny. you'll be getting a good player in the draft regardless but Matthews is the exact thing you've been looking for since Sundin left if Im not mistaken.
I know what you're saying, but I keep seeing 80% chance of NOT getting him. Last year if it was the same system as now, the sabres most likely would've missed out on Eichel too.
After the foot-in-the-crease (no) goal, and the Music City Fiasco, here's the official response from Buffalo fans: this year's rules last year would have resulted in the fourth pick. There's no question about it.
lol, regardless of where you finish you get one of the Finnish Fs, Nylander's bro or Chychrun so screwing up the tank won't matter.
i really was disappointed in the toronto loss, and i just don't know who to pick between laine and puljujarvi?
This Date in NHL History: March 29 1970: Esposito sets rookie record with 15th shutout of season 1981: Gretzky breaks Esposito's record for most points in a season 2000: Roy first goalie to win 30 games in a season 10 times
#1 Matthews, #2 Laine. Puljujarvi goes 3-6 depending on the team. Pulju may have a higher ceiling but Laine is a lot more ready now. They're both likely to be really good, but when you're picking second you go with the good AND safer pick.
