Joe Pavelski is 1 of just 4 players this season with 30+ goals and 30+ assists (Patrick Kane, Jamie Benn & Tyler Seguin).
how much of the Stars issues, specifically the Stars' stars issues, be attributed to Klingberg going down? Im assuming its just a tough stretch and they'll pop out.
Demers is a bigger loss than Klingberg in my opinion. Dallas had one of the easiest schedules to start the year. Lennie doesn't look at the schedule until after the deadline usually. Only 11 of their first 29 were against playoff seeded teams (today), and of those they were playing some of those games against a derailed TB, PIT, and ANA squad. The schedule is still catching up to them. 11 games left against teams currently in a playoff position.
That Kaner guy was out last year though. Still, Hawks like to have ugly performances in March. Had some real ugliness in 2010 too. 2013 was so ridiculous out of the gate that March was bound to be a regression too. We'll see. Last year's team looked worse on paper roster, this one looks worse statistically.
That's outstanding. A couple of games ago the Hurricanes only dressed 1 defenseman with more than 82 career games played, thought that was interesting. I'm liking Francis more by the day, no shortcuts.
Penguins Sidney Crosby now has 52 points in his last 37 games. He had 24 points in his first 34 games this season.
And Sequin went to IR. Didn't see it playing out that way. Thought sid would have been the injured one.
