Fun stat of the day

  1. bob, it's been nice knowing u. questioning sid's greatness is akin to a cartoon of mohammed with a bomb in his turban.

    lol, no kidding.
I just don't get it. Lemieux needed certain players around him to rack up stats and so did Gretzky. How about adjusting to the league where 8 of the last 10 cup winning teams worried about winning all shifts instead of just dominating some matchups with just one or two lines?

Sid still dictates matchups, use him as a decoy and he'll still get numbers. Lord help us then though, then people would say Malkin is better, OV is better, etc.

  4. dayum, bob. first u question his greatness, and then u suggest OV as a possible substitute???

who are u - paul kersey?

Ryan Miller was in goal the season Buffalo started their season 10-0; tied with TOR for the best ever franchise start.

Ryan Miller was in goal last night to thwart the Habs' bid to join that elite group. Thank you, Ryan. I was takin' it kinda personal too.

So what's the Fun Stat? ... Ryan Miller gets a mention on this board, and it's not negative.
