What do you guys think about Crabtree? Don't know if he'd take a job where he'd only be the #4 at best but the Steelers do go after former 1st round picks that need a change of scenery, ie Justin Gilbert, Haden, Hayward-Bay, etc
He'll be a Raven. Pretty shitty what they did to Ryan Grant. Agree to a deal and then the instant Crabtree comes free they find some mysterious flaw in his physique.
No thanks on Crackers, maybe just for personality. There's some dudes getting overpaid out there. Jordy Nelson is not worth $15 MIL over two years, but that's free agency .Jon Gruden also took RB Doug Martin. Not seeing it . Every year I shake my head at these paydays .
When it comes to contract discussions here, beach and hockeybob are the experts, so I don’t fuck around with those guys on that, but as I’m witnessing the FA money fly, I really do think LVB is worth his asking price. He is without a doubt the best RB in the NFL and he deserves at least high-end CB money. It’s hard to rationalize it any other way. Maybe the question should be “Who do you want to pay $15M a year, LeVeon Bell or....?”, because that’s where this shit is headed, like a freight train.
When you see a guy get 7.5 million a year as a part time RB, you say to yourself that Bell is easily worth double that. I don’t believe McCinnin spelling? Is worth 4 million, but if that’s the market then Bell will fetch his desire from this market.
While I understand and agree that a pt rb shouldn't get that kind of money, but Mckinnon was signed and was considered a fulltime rb by most of the league. Sort of like Tiki Barber was originally with the Giants.
The Vikings had a stacked RB room. It took a hit when Cook went down for the year but McKinnon and Murrey were both damn good. I was hoping the Steelers would show some interest in him as Bell insurance. Conner with Mckinnon as 3rd down back would have been adequate. Not as good as Bell, but enough to keep defenses honest.
Yeah that sounds pretty shady. Never missed a game, and if the agent is to be believed Grant could play if there was a game today. Pretty messed up, hope the NFLPA gets involved, but doubtful. Dr patient confidentiality and such. The Ravens don’t have to disclose how he failed unless I’m mistaken.
I remember beloved NYBites among others were high on Bostic before the 2013 draft. He’s been a bit of a bust for a 2nd round pick and already on his 5th team. Let’s hope he can turn it around for our Super Steelers.
If he can stay healthy he may not be bad, Got this from the Depot Imagine that a guy playing on defense that doesnt miss tackles
