So I'm not 100% against a retread, but with that being said, unlike a brand new coach--a retread has to have some sort of element he's learned that he didn't implement/learn/adjust to with team #1 resulting in his firing. On the flip side, there are some barriers to first time coaches. I've mentioned interest in Lincoln Riley, but if you want him, he comes with an 88 million dollar buyout from USC. That's a nonstarter whether I think he'd be great for Caleb and approaching a modern NFL offense going forward or not. The only idiot who'd chase that is Jerry Jones...

I agree mostly with your list, although while I do NOT hire him, I talk to Bill Belichick. Give him a red carpet and ask him important shit about wise coach things, then thank him for his time and send him back to Nantucket with a fruit basket.

Robert Saleh I agree with. I don't trust because he couldn't squeeze anything out of a QB taken #2 overall he was paired with, even though I fucking hated Zack Wilson and thought he was a bum.

Add Mike McCarthy to that list to rule out too. He's toast in Dallas, and I don't know what he'd do differently here than when in Dallas when he said he learned but didn't from his time in Green Bay.

He looked like a hostage at times. Reminded me of Rick Hahn (GM for the white sox a couple years back) when they forced him to hire an ass backwards 80 year old manager Tony LaRussa when he built a modern metric-driven team. I felt bad for Rick Hahn because he actually built an intriguing farm system/young team, whereas I don't feel bad for Poles because he built....a few spots up from where they were.

If Warren is going to pick now as the time to stick his fingers in the pie, don't half ass it. Full flush this clogged shitter and start from scratch with GM too. Why are you saying 'its his decision' before saying 'we make decisions?' That's some Sweaty Teddy bs.

Blang may have had a point about him faking because a few times it seemed....excessive.

That was my biggest takeaway today. Warren just let everyone know he’s in charge. Not sure he’s gonna right the ship but at least it’s not Bill Polian leading this shit.

Poles looks more like a guy that just needs a good nights sleep rather than someone that is mad or embarrassed in the presser.
