In short, a half a bag of Werther’s Originals your grandfather left sitting on the dash of his Old’s Cutlass for like a month.
Fine by me. Cutting him would have cost double. 4th year of rookie fully gtd contract. Good deal for Jets. I'd love to say the same for Denver, but Wilson is not an NFL QB by any means. Nor is he a competent back up.
you had a pair of picks to catch up. 218 and 228. So you are still missing one. And your final pick, 250 is coming up soon.
Denver is scheduled to play at MetLife this season. What are the odds? Week 1 Broncos @ NYJ with Zach Wilson starting. If that's not a SNF matchup, what is?
So scrolling thru Bronco message board.... 1. "We might as well look forward to 2025" 2. "Looks like hiring Sean Peyton is a big mistake." 3. "Denver better hide their moms." 4. "AAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH what the F***************************!!" 5. "[Stidham] aint worried." 6. "From Russell Wilson to Zac Wilson -> golden period for bronco fans" Correct on #3, for sure.
Along those lines, the pick that changed hands the most in last year's real draft was originally the seventh rounder of the Jets. New York had traded it to Tampa in the deal for Steve McClendon back in 2020. Tampa traded it to Houston about six weeks before the draft in the Shaq Mason deal (Tampa got Houston's sixth, Houston got Mason plus this pick). Then it went to Philadelphia in the second round as part of a package to trade up to take Juice Scruggs. Philadelphia sent it back to Houston in a 2 seventh for 1 sixth deal (and then they flipped the 6th, trading it to Tampa for a fifth rounder this year). Houston sent it to Buffalo when they traded up to get Xavier Hutchinson, with the Bills ultimately using it to draft Nick Broeker. And the hilarious ending... it ended up back with Houston for a third time. The Bills released Broeker at the final roster cuts, probably planning to put him on the practice squad, but the Texans claimed him off of waivers.
He's not even going to run. lol. I hated the guy as a person ages ago. The rumblings of the family issues seemed to all point to him and he is full of himself and it isn't confidence. This is before covid and all the other stuff. I respect his game but that's about it. If he were black it probably would have been picked up by more people earlier because we know how benefit of the doubt works.
Off the field, Rodgers is a whack job, IMO. Just win games and keep mouth shut is what I hope for. He is insane.
