[IMG] James Cromwell - LA Confidential ! Damn he was good at being dirty! He kills Kevin Spacey, shoots Russell Crowe and Guy Pierce and then tries to be the good guy. A real SOB.

it takes 2 to tango, so she is just as dumb and as guilty as he is. he hasn't aged well either, so i don't know what she's thinking.

You are giving them too much credit. You're assuming that they were thinking !!

No, she wasn't just as dumb and guilty. She was 16. 16 year olds do not have fully formed adult decision making capabilities. Plenty of blame to go around for her parents, though...

    Uhhhh No !!

I've lived here in southern Calif all my live. In that time, I've run across 3-4 young girls that REALLY wanted to get in to "show business". They'll do anything !!!! She calculated all of this. Even at 16 Y/O. And her parents were more that likely backing her the whole way. These Hollywood wanna be's live in a different world than you and I do !!!!!!

Alright if you want to pin your argument on a 16 year old’s decision-making capabilities I guess I can’t argue with that. Back to the bad guys...

wait a minute ! this isn't puberty development here. fully formed ? she can drive a car. she was in HS. she takes exams. what proof do you have besides her age that her decision making wasn't fully formed ? i never heard that term used like that before and i think in this case it's bullshit. she knew was she was doing and she wasn't or isn't the only 16 in the world to get married. this is not the point of conception where the baby isn't fully development for an abortion. at 16 - she knows what she's doing. it's right from wrong. same as a criminal act. it's like a young bimbo marrying a 86 yr old Texas billionaire because she "LOVES" him. haha. she loves the money and nothing else.

upload_2018-10-25_9-49-48.jpeg King Edward i of England or Longshanks from Braveheart ! This guy was great! He throws his sons' gay lover out the window and puts the hammer on the Scots and William Wallace.

so a teenager guilty of murder is not really guilty or it's allowed because their brains aren't fully developed yet ? yeah right. go try that in a court of law. she dated hutchinson and no one stopped them. then they got married and no one stopped them. apparently her parents, his parents, the priest who married them and others didn't make good decisions here either.

I didn't say she was blameless, just not equal to the adults involved as you stated.

[IMG] here is the 16 yr old on her wedding day. she obviously has breast implants. who is to blame for them ? the surgeon ? no she is. i am not going to believe a 16 yr is not capable of understanding their decisions and they are not fully formed. so how old are we then when we are fully formed ?

Around early 20's for most people.

A 16 year old may know right from wrong, but that doesn't mean that they account for that knowledge in the same way an adult does when it comes to decision making. A 16 year old is not going to make an important decision in the same way an adult is. Even if you disregard the research, I think we can agree based on the experiences of every person we've ever known ever that that's pretty much universally the case. It's not a coincidence that high risk behavior is significantly more prevalent among teenagers than adults.

And I'd certainly put a hell of a lot more blame on a surgeon for giving a 16 year old implants than I would on a 16 year old for wanting them.

that's fine but im still not pinning their marriage on her decision making wasn't full formed. sorry.

I’m with Underdog on this. The science is there about the brain development of teenagers and how their decision-making process is significantly flawed. Just take some time to look it up, read it.

And again all I really took exception to was the statement that she was equally culpable with Hutchison...I never said she was blameless, just way further down the list then her parents and Eugene Victor Tooms over there being all creepy ass lol

you said flawed. he said not fully developed. that's not the same thing. im not changing my stance on this. can we get back to the point of the thread ?
