We were both on a 6-game win-streak heading into that lol.
But ya I was dominating and you were just winning favourable matchups, more or less.

Don't know how you and Tim scored so low.
You've got the playoff gauntlet though. Essentially 3 highest points teams in a row. It's like a 3-way tie for 3rd though lol. I had 3 and 4 but the difference between 3rd and 5th is 3 points. Basically, if Tim won I'd have the gauntlet lol.

Good luck. I'm 0-3 in the finals in that league.

 

It's looking like I'm gonna lose all my finals while I crush the league I lost by .04 last week.

Willie we are gonna have to rename my team the Vikings in that league. 0-4 in the finals but not all in a row.

 

I’m asking for opinions on leagues where you have individual defensive players in your lineup. What position do you prefer to stock your defense with? I think ILB is the best option because they have steady points almost every week that you can count on. Edge, DB and IL can have a monster game here and there but in between those games they have some low scores. How do you guys feel about the defensive players ?

 

LBs seem to consistently carry the most weight in IDP leagues. You always want 2+ you can count on.

After that it’s a tougher question to answer because league scoring rules can have some positions fluctuate wildly in importance.
Like pass deflections(swats / passes defended) for the CB or S position.
Or Assisted tackles and QB Hits for the DE/DL positions.

If you gave me specifics of your league scoring I could give you a more precise response

 

I personally love IDP. Adds another level to fantasy. ILB are nice but I don’t think it can be the main reason for taking a guy. Personally, I strongly prefer safeties over corners. Also looking at snap counts helps as well because they can’t accumulate stats if they aren’t on the field.

as far as edge guys go, I love Maxx Crosby. The dude doesn’t miss many plays and he’s a tackling machine. Vastly under appreciated in fantasy and in real life. IMO with a hot take, he’s the 3rd best edge guy in the league behind Garrett and Watt.

 

I was mostly thinking about the league we just drafted for last week. In that one you only get solo tackles and turnovers plus sacks. And scores too. In that league ILBs consistently score more because they don’t have passes defensed or assist on tackles.

 

The Football is Truth league a bunch of us are in has wild defensive scoring. It makes it a lot of fun, and good defensive guys can make up for the lack of skill position players in that league.

 

I suppose in that league they mostly are ILBs.
But the odd “Will” backer gets in pretty good too. At his peak performance over a 3 year stretch Shaq Leonard was playing Will.

In rough sequence for this league I chase
LB > S > DE

CBs simply don’t score here. And IDLs can, but it’s very hard. There’s maybe 3-4 IDLs per season that score enough to be worth rostering.

 

In the league i discussed in the draft board where we keep 5 players i currently have the following as my 5
Mahomes
Tyjee Spears
Isaiah Pacheco
Rashee Rice
Jaylen Waddle

I was offered the ridiculous trade of my first round pick #6 in return I would get Justin Hebert. With Mahomes i have no need of Herbert but im looking at his roster and he has Nock Chubb on his roster unprotected. Would it be insane to offer my #6 for Chubb and if its not insane which of the above players should i drop to make Chubb protected.

 

Of course with the #6 maybe I should just wait and grabb Chubb if he's available keeping all I have

 

I can tell you all one thing... Ive had to make a lot of moves with our L4SN fantasy teams this season in effort to get the best team on the field. It was nerve racking, especially this past week with the final cuts, but honestly, it was and still is a bloody lot of fun. I see a lot of very good teams from a lot of you, but its still all looks very competitive.

Tough ones.
I want to say Purdy at MIN, but only because I think they’ll be in the red zone a lot.

As for question #2 I think you better just hope KWIII plays. None of those options are great. Although I have to admit that Iosivas option is giving me tingles. Sounds more and more like Higgins sits again, and I think KC will double Chase a good amount. But Burrow will be throwing to keep up
