Fantasy Football Talk in General

So the final Ertz TD won me my matchup in L4SN league over Jason (he's got the worst playoff luck). However it had my brother beat me by 0.18 points in another dynasty league with his friends. Today I noticed that Wentz got 2 points for recovering his own fumble and didn't lose any points from it because he didn't "lose" the fumble. That's gotta be tweaked in the rules next year. So he got 2 BS points.

However stat corrections came in and Danielle Hunter got me 0.5 more points on an extra assisted tackle. If you are on Fleaflicker you can click the player's weekly total in the matchup and the updated number will show there with the breakdown. It will be made official in the morning when everything is updated fully.

 

Tannehill was still available in that league. I grabbed him and am starting him now over Goff and Carr.

Managed not to not screw it up either time. Woohoo.

Gonna have to navigate both title games without Godwin, though.

 

for the first time in a long time i won't make the playoffs in either league im in. fell 1 game shy in both and the eagles fiasco with elliott missing a fg and jeffery getting hurt was the difference in one league and a missed win. im glad im out. one team was very good but i was snake bitten and started 0-4. to climb all the way back to 7-7 is something. the other team was doomed with passing on kelce in the first rd, having brutal te's all year and keeping mixon as my keeper. bad, bad, bad. and it was a bad year to finally take tom brady. ugh. onto my super nfl fantasy pool. big money to be won. pot will be over $8000!

Perriman as a #1 without Evans or Godwin to draw attention away scares me a little but yeah probably the best option available in one league. The other league I actually have a couple of viable alternatives on my bench but also have an empty roster spot so I’ll probably grab him there too to give me options, assuming my opponent doesn’t use his waiver priority to snipe me.

 

I know what you mean about being scared of using him with no one to draw coverage. But after last weeks performance I just don’t think I can bench him in good conscience. I’m in the final in two leagues and manage to grab him before game time last week. Luckily not starting him didn’t stop me from winning either league

 

it's funny how some guys are available in my one league and in the other they were taken weeks ago. perriman is an example. haha.

 

For the few of you left in L4SN fantasy football playoffs, there are a few key absences coming up in this weeks games that are huge. Dalvin Cook is out, Godwin is out and im hearing reports Lamar Jackson may not play because Baltimore has nothing really to play for. Just an FYI so you check up on these and other situations.

Bt the way, I sure had a lot of fun with fantasy here even while getting my hat handed to me in the Playoffs, but the crew here at L4SN made this a really fun and interesting season.

Oh how awesome for D. Henry to be ruled out Sunday morning when all my best alternatives played Saturday.

 

that sucks. wow. i won both my consolation loser games easily. go figure. i played fitzpatrick over brady and he cleaned up.

 

Let’s hope Mike Boone has a magical night. Picked him up and swapped him in for Henry in both leagues

 

In my dynasty startup on here I drafted in the last spot and through 8 I had:
1. Hopkins
2. Beckham
3. Rodgers (rarely used)
4. Luck
5. AJ Green
6. OJ Howard
7. JJ Watt
8. DJ Moore

I did not draft a RB yet and essentially only Hopkins and Moore were used when I didn't force Beckham on hope.
I did not really grab any offensive free agents until the last week where it was inconsequential anyways.
This was the rest of my team core that I drafted. RB by committee almost all year and hit on my 4th QB and 4th TE when I just went for extra at the position.
AJ Brown was also big but Kenyon Drake LMAO. He finished as my RB 1 just like I drafted him! Started 1-4 and then won out. Ravens were solid as were Drake and AJ late.

Really happy to have squeaked by after trading you Brees. Would have been the 2nd kick in the teeth on that deal - you winning 5 straight after the trade being the 1st.
