Glad we are able to be talked about in the same sentence as the words winning a SB now. Our team sucked back then. That was Cowhers 3 years of crap, we had to go through to get back to being SB contenders. Which is what we have been since Ben was drafted.

  3. I'm guessing 27-13 Our front seven knows it has to pick up the tempo for the secondary who hasn't played together at all during the preseason, there will be lots of blitzing look for hilton to get his first sack coming off the bench in the slot.

Look for TJ Watt to lead the league in sacks after week one.

Garrett reportedly has a high ankle sprain. He'll be out for awhile

I certainly did not expect to see Burfict get a 3 year extension and a pay raise after his second suspension

I expect a victory with Pittsburgh having an advantage both offensively and defensively. However, I expect a lot of ugly ball by both teams. The Steelers' starters, especially on offense, hardly played together all preseason. There will be issues with timing and rust. In recent years, the defense has taken four or five games to get real traction so I won't be surprised to see the Steelers give up a few plays and keep things close for a while. I think the Browns have started to make some actual progress and some good moves this off-season, but it won't be enough this year, nor in this game.

The Steelers have all the personnel and experience to run away with this, but Tomlin's teams have started slowly in recent years. Starting the year against the Browns may help with some of that.

  10. The Browns best players on defense are rookies. Good luck.

The Chiefs' best player on offense was a rookie.

Tyreek Hill isn't a rookie either.

Nope, he isn't a rookie. He's in his second year. But, Kareem Hunt IS a rookie.

The fact that they're rookies means they're unknowns, not that they suck.

On a side note, I loved watching New England lose. Eric Berry had a major role in that.

Kind of a moot point considering one of them isn't even playing. Third ankle injury in the last two seasons. Might have to have surgery to keep this from re-occuring like Pouncey did.

I thought they said it was cramps?

If you're referring to Myles Garrett . . . he suffered an ankle spain during practise. Out anywhere from 2 to 6 weeks.

Sorry for some reason I was thinking Beach was referring to Tyreek Hill. I did hear Garrett suffered a high ankle sprain.

I had the same procedure as Pouncey to finally strengthen my ankle. Once you stretch those ligaments and tendons you can rehab all you like but you'll always be susceptible to a reoccurence. I'd be surprised if they don't go that route with Garrett after the season.
