I'm pretty much set as well. Just a few decisions on the last spots. I could trade some guys relatively cheap but at this point I expect I am likely done dealing.

 

my draft this year went pretty well, kenneth dixon carted off today, reggie raglund out for the year, sheldon rankins out for 8 weeks.

 

I also posted this on flea flicker under messages.
Turftoes have designated the following to the practice squad:
Offense Karlos Williams
Defense Reggie Ragland.
Turftoes are down to 31 players.

 

Wait we have 32 players, right? 30 roster + 2 practice squad?

 

33. 31 roster plus 2 PS, which get put on our IR. Our IR spot was removed so it could be used for the PS, so to compensate Tim expanded the active roster by 1.

 

I know I should have known that, lol...I went back and read it AFTER I posted, like an idiot.

No actually, it's my mind going...that's all, pretty simple really

 

The PS spots (2 IR spots) are now open.

ROSTERS DO NOT EXPAND BY 2 MORE PLAYERS AT THIS TIME.

Any free agents added that expand a roster to over 40 will be immediately cut and returned to the FA pool.

If owners can move a set of players into the PS spots I can cut the roster maximum back to 38 in order to avoid any confusion. If you have any questions be sure to post it here, PM me or post it on FF.

 

Finally almost time for cuts. It was a long offseason for this league.

 

Ha Tim. Last night I asked Tiger Style to make the exact moves you forced and he only answered now that he is away and for you to do it for him but it was already done. Nice.

 

Thank you all for the trade offers...however, I have a glutton of roster spots as it is.

I will NOT be trading draft picks for any players.

If you have an offer for say two of my guys for one of yours. I will look at it...but I do not have a roster spot to take on your defensive guys that you want to move for my draft picks.

Again, sincerely appreciate the offers, but that is my situation.

 

Talking about D. I am torn on whether to keep Leonard Williams or not as my last keeper. If someone has a decent offer to make the decision easier I would be all for it.

I didn't pick anyone up off the waiver wire..

 

I'm heading up north for the weekend sometime around 4 so for anyone I have a deal being worked on or I send an offer to, there is a decent chance it can't be countered with me checking it in time. And if anyone has an offer I probably need it before then as well. I will be texting RT to see if any of my trades go through and giving him my cuts if I am running late.

Monday, September 5th - Roster Limit Deadline at 8pm ET
If you fail to cut your roster down before the deadline at 8pm your roster will automatically be trimmed down starting with your 10th round pick and moving backwards through the draft until the roster maximum is reached. That number is 31, plus 2 practice squad players for a total of 33. IF YOU DO NOT MAKE THE DEADLINE THERE IS NO DO-OVERS OR TAKE BACKS. IF YOU DID NOT MAKE IT PRIOR TO 8PM YOU FORFEIT THE ABILITY TO DECIDE YOUR FINAL OPENING DAY ROSTER.

 

It's a good thing we moved the deadline to after the cut to 53. Flea Flicker changes player positions at that time. Vic Beasley is now a LB instead of a DL.

 

This is something that we will make sure to keep in place every year. It can drastically change an owner's keeper situation.
