My roster is down to 30. Not quite up to speed on all of the discussions but the one I noticed was flex players. My vote to any flex players would be no. I will check in and see if anything else comes into play.
Yes, the rules for the end of season had to be modified some in this regard. Originally there would have been a one week opening after the championship for teams to do a quick overhaul but now that will have to be done in week 16 so that it works in tandem with the FF open/close of season.
The quickest way for owners to check and see if they are compliant with the 30 player maximum is to count the empty slots in their roster. You should have 10 empty roster slots.
My roster is down to 30 I am "flexible" on the flex option, so there should be no need for a tie breaker if everyone else votes.. *ROCK*
I cut my defense and kicker to get down to 30. Should have asked ahead of time but that is allowed right? If not I guess Tim can add them back to my roster and let me know.

I'm the only guy with less than 9 picks. I have 8 and none in the 1st, 3rd or 5th rounds. However #15 overall isn't too much of a step back from #12 and late in the season I was trying to get some young talent on my team where I could so I didn't need a big draft. That and getting Gronk and winning the whole thing helps too.
I have three picks in a row in the late second. I'm considering parlaying them into higher picks next season but the target area they are in still translates into decent value in this draft (21st, 22nd and 23rd overall). That's the range for anywhere from the third overall prospect at any position or higher depending on how the draft moves in front of me with a higher probability for the second highest ranked prospect at TE, DL or DB.
Is that possible year 2; the PS guys go into locked IR spots?? Or just worded wrong? I'm only curious. We'll be more diligent year 2 regardless.
I'm not sure exactly what you are trying to convey with your question but I'll try to answer it. The IR will now accept healthy players so we can stash the PS players there throughout the season and it will notify us in the activity center anytime someone from the IR is activated. The only question now is if we remove the current IR spot. In one league that I have been in for some time (keeper), we have a yearly IR spot. Basically it gives an owner the opportunity to put a player on IR for the remainder of the season so they can be retained at the end of the year. It's a one time deal, meaning once you place a player there he can not be brought back to your roster for the rest of the season. In this league it does make sense to go with this type of IR for a few reasons. 1. It makes it easier to track the PS players as no one can move them from the IR until after weeks 5 and 10. 2. We have extremely deep rosters. 3. We still have the ability to IR a player to protect his rights but it prevents owners from using it as a 'stash spot' by placing players with limited upside in the IR so they can go after FAs in the wire simply to prevent other owners from improving their team.
$99.99 gets my vote. i agree i cannot monitor every team, and the ps slot really should get tossed in my opinion.
I liked the IR spot because even when it allowed me to essentially have a larger roster when the injuries were only weekly. The reason I say this is because our rosters may be large but hen you are still trying to figure out your young talent and useful vets the roster seems very small at times. The PS helps but that IR spot was useful even when I didn't need to stash a guy for keepers.
Most likely the IR spot will be taken out. However, we will add one more roster spot for the season giving us 33 total (two PS spots). The IR spot will be used exclusively for the PS. At the end of the season the rosters will still have to be cut down to 30. To be clear - the only thing that I am considering a vote on is the flex position and that does not mean that we will have a formal vote on it. It was something that was brought up by owners early in the formation of this league so I am willing to hear everyone's thoughts on it. I will hear out anyone's opinion on changes they think should be made or concerns they may have with the current set-up but this league, from the beginning, is not structured to be a 'vote and change' league. One of the reasons that we do not have a flex currently is to ensure that owners have more than adequate room on their bench to protect possible keepers. There are 12 starting spots that most owners will look to add depth too with 16 available bench spots. Potentially Bench - QB - 2 RB - 3 WR - 3 TE - 2 DL - 2 LB - 2 DB - 2 If we add the flex the problem with injuries, along with roster movement for bye weeks, and losing potential starters becomes a much bigger issue.
