Julio not the greatest but I'll take 9 points. Got a good game from Ingram and Anthony coming off the practice squad got me a respectable 4 points. My opponent starting Spiller helped, although Brees did alright. Tim had a good start with Freeman and last moment waiver pickup Watson. His 4th TE. He felt this performance coming. Kudos Tim.
It took 5 weeks and change but I have my 1st bitch of the season. I'm here yelling for Talib to run as he pic 6s and I'm thinking(correctly) I'm a genius for picking up Denvers D this week. Than I see no score change, so I check the rules thread. If the D scores a TD it's not worth anything? That seems just silly to me, I vote for a next season constitutional amendment on that one.
I was thinking the same thing. Last week the Steelers scored a pick-6 and I received... bupkis, nada, zero, zilch. We need a constitutional amendment.
You are not starting a defensive team, you are starting a special teams unit. You have individual defensive players that can score touchdowns. There will be no change in this rule as we never start a team defense, only a special teams.
That's the reason I never drafted a DST. Actually Tim forced me to pick one up when we moved to Flea Flicker. But I knew the rule. I checked the scoring settings before the draft.
If you have an IDP set-up that has the same number of starters on defense as it does on offense then you do not keep a roster spot for team defense (the same as there is no roster spot for team offense). It's a special teams slot only.
My late strategy vs Irish worked. Irish only had Rivers left on offense while I had a small lead and LaDarius Green left among a few others including Darren McFadden. I could have left McFadden on (and he would have given me 1 more point) but I swapped him out fr Danny Woodhead. as a defensive measure. Rivers throws 3 TDs, all to my players. Also RT killed it this week. Almost 200 points and if he gets 3 or more points from his last remaining player he will have gotten a 100% coaching mark on top of that.
