LMAO! I hear ya Rediiis. A lot of shenanigans in the NFL these days... And this is with the league being harsher than they used to. Yet another example that increased sentencing solves nothing...
Looks like my early selection of John Brown in the 7th round may pay off better and sooner than expected.
Flex will not be added for this season. It was not available at the time we drafted and it would have definitely affected how people prepared for this season. We'll put it up for vote at the end of the season.
The trade that came in in dynasty is it just me or is it extremely one-sided as far as value goes? I mean a 4th rounder isn't really that valuable is it for a guy that got drafted pretty early? I was kicking the tires too and I was thinking more than that.
It depends on what you believe that players worth to be. There will have to be an additional roster move involved for that trade to work though. Another player thrown in on the deal to balance it or a player will need cut. I have to take a closer look at it but off of first glance it does not seem to far fetched. Although, it's a bit of a head scratcher. *SCRATCH*
Don't mistake this as sour apples. I sent him a message to offer a deal last night and he followed up this morning with what he was looking for and then shortly after with a message he reached an agreement with someone after they tweaked their previous offer. My initial offer was going to be a bit better than that one and I thought it was on the low end of acceptable.
Could it be that he values whatever player is involved in the return a little more in deal B than in deal A?
Never actually got to show my offer until after the trade was accepted. Sent my intent to send an offer asking details of what he was looking for late last night. Early this morning he sent the details of what he was looking for and then not long after he said forget about it because he struck a deal. I noticed the messages around noon. Now I have no issue with that at all. Stuff like that can happen. I just wonder if it was enough. Seems really low.
Either way it's fine by me. I don't mean to make it a hissy fit for not getting a trade. I never did dynasty before but from what I've researched it seems low. If it gets the 5 veto votes it gets them, if it doesn't then it doesn't.
Ah, glad you mentioned that. The veto system will need to be adjusted. We have nothing in the rules for voting by owners regarding trades. Only that they will be reviewed by the commissioner/commissioners to be sure that they are within reason.
I checked out this one trade analyzer tool and I have no clue how it works exactly or if it's any good. The trade mentioned gives Truth around a 15% advantage. But increase the draft pick almost a full round like I was thinking and it soars to almost a 50% advantage for ANED. Is the draft pick value difference really that extreme or is this thing on crack? http://www.fantasysharks.com/apps/bert/predraft/draft_trade_calculator.php
Talk to me when Walford catches 15 TDs in 2017 with Carr throwing them to him while Latavious puts up 2400 yards from scrimmage. Foresight grasshopper, And it is sounding like sour grapes Joe. I've always liked you on these and past boards, I also respect your football acumen, but never question me again or else.....
It's entirely at the mercy of how deep the draft class is in 2016 and what players are available in the free agent pool.
Nope that is fine. I never even had your answer before. If you liked that trade better that is perfectly fine. You had your reasons and I hope Carr hits him up amny times as long as it isn't against me. I know it sounds like sour grapes (thanks for catching my mistake of saying apples, duh I feel like an idiot) but really it is hard for it not to sound like it so you can at least give me that. I kinda wish I wasn't involved so it wouldn't seem that way. As for why I've been in a few leagues where it caused a shit storm when somethings went through when people were initially unaware. Plus running these collab drafts usually had me looking at that until we more or less made a policy where you can trade what you want. As for the value here, Kelce is a hard one to pinpoint anyways. Maybe you run away with this one in the end.
P.S. if I thought my trade would have been on the low end of acceptable but he thinks the one he has has better value for what he is looking for then by simple deduction it falls in the acceptable range. By my own arguments I should have no problem with the trade. In the beginning anyways I was more wondering if it was fair, exclusive of my comparison.
