PALM COAST, Fla. – A welcome mat at the front door of a Florida home read “come back with a warrant” — and that's just what deputies did before finding drugs and drug paraphernalia inside. The Daytona Beach News-Journal reports the home in Palm Coast was part of an investigation into illegal drugs. After seeing the doormat, authorities say the Flagler County Sheriff’s Office got the warrant. Deputies found 2.5 grams of fentanyl, dozens of used syringes and other drug paraphernalia inside during a search late last week. "This poison peddler had a doormat that said, ‘Come back with a warrant,’ so we did,” Flagler County Sheriff Rick Staly said. “Our detectives did a great job in following up on tips received on this residence. We still have some follow-up work to do, but for now the deadly drugs and syringes seized are off the streets.” Investigators say there were four people inside but no arrests were made immediately. The Florida Department of Children and Families were contacted regarding a child at the home.

Michigan man plans to steal helicopter for hospital attack to free COVID-19 patients, police say BAY CITY, Mich. – A Michigan man devised a plan to steal a helicopter from the Coast Guard in order to attack a police station and shooting up a hospital to disrupt the power and free the coronavirus (COVID-19) patients, authorities said. Jesse Theodore McFadden, 70, is accused of calling Arenac County dispatchers around 8 a.m. Sunday to say he was on his way to the United States Coast Guard Station in Bay City, Michigan, to steal a helicopter, according to officials. McFadden told dispatchers the helicopter would further his plan to attack a police station and shoot up a hospital, court records show. He wanted to disrupt the power to the hospital, unlock the doors and release patients under COVID-19 quarantine, officials said. McFadden told authorities he was armed with a machine gun, police said. Dispatchers said they called police and the Coast Guard Station Saginaw River about the threat. They also revealed McFadden’s criminal history of brandishing weapons and resisting police, court records say. Coast Guard workers at the Saginaw River station in Essexville said McFadden arrived around 10:30 a.m. in a black Ford open-bed pickup truck registered to another person. He tried to get into the station using the gate keypad, officials said. After he failed to get in several times, he called the station communications center and demanded access, according to authorities. His request was denied, so McFadden threatened to ram the gate open with his truck, court records show. He left at 10:39 a.m. before Essexville police officers arrived, officials said. Michigan State Police troopers found the pickup truck around 11:15 a.m. at a gas station in Essexville, according to court documents. The truck was running but unoccupied with the driver’s door open, officials said. When McFadden walked out of the gas station, state troopers spoke to him while a Hampton Township officer searched the pickup, authorities said. A Hampton Township officer found a Mossberg Model 500A 12-gauge shotgun on the passenger seat of the truck, officials said. It was loaded with five shells, court records show. McFadden saw that the officer had seized the shotgun and tried to hit one of the MSP troopers, officials said. He also disobeyed verbal commands and resisted attempts to place him under arrest, troopers said. Officers said they used a Taser on McFadden and arrested him. He was taken into custody by Hampton Township police. McFadden was convicted of fourth-degree fleeing and eluding on June 15, 2011 -- a felony punishable by up to two years in prison, officials said. Authorities confirmed the shotgun was manufactured outside of Michigan. The criminal complaint concludes McFadden knowing he had been convicted of a felony offense punishable by a prison sentence of longer than one year, possessed a firearm in violation of the law. Officials are seeking a charge of felon in possession of a firearm.

Apparently an homage to Jim Gaffigan...... Man says he broke into San Diego Wells Fargo bank to heat up his Hot Pockets SAN DIEGO (KGTV) -- A man who was arrested on suspicion of breaking into a Chollas View bank early Wednesday morning apparently entered the branch just so he can heat up his Hot Pocket sandwiches. At around 3:30 a.m., San Diego police were dispatched to the Wells Fargo bank branch on 346 Euclid Ave. after a burglar alarm had gone off. Responding officers arrived to find a broken window near the bank’s drive-thru. The alarm company told police that surveillance cameras inside the branch captured a man inside a break room and using the microwave. After about an hour, officers broke through the front doors and located the man inside. As officers took him outside and arrested him, the man told 10News’ Breaking News Tracker that he entered the bank just so he can microwave his Hot Pockets. When asked if the Hot Pockets were worth it, the man responded, "Hell yeah it was worth it." Police did not release any further details on the incident.
The one line just made me laugh way too hard........ Austrian police defend decision to fine man after 'provocative' fart A man in Vienna has been fined €500 (£447) for breaking wind loudly in front of police in a move the Austrian capital’s police force was at pains to defend. The Österreich newspaper reported that the penalty stemmed from an incident on 5 June and that the offender was fined for offending public decency. City police wrote on Twitter that “of course no one is reported for accidentally letting one go”. They added that the man had behaved provocatively and uncooperatively during an encounter with officers that preceded the incident. He got up from a park bench, looked at officers and “let go a massive intestinal wind apparently with full intent”, they said. Police noted that the decision could be appealed against.
MILTON, Fla. – A Florida man threatened to kill someone "with kindness," and then later cut a man with a machete with the word "kindness" written on the blade. Bryan Stewart, 30, of Milton was overheard by neighbors Friday telling a person inside his home that he was going to "kill 'em with kindness." When a neighbor went to the home to ask Stewart to keep down the noise, Stewart raised a knife in the man's direction, according to the Pensacola News Journal. A second neighbor stepped in front of Stewart to protect the first man and was cut by Stewart with the machete that had "kindness" written on it. The man suffered a half-inch cut on his hand. Stewart, who police say smelled of alcohol, was arrested and placed in the back of a patrol car. After kicking and banging his head inside the vehicle, Stewart was stunned with a Taser. Stewart was charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon without the intent to kill and aggravated battery.

I just can't not say anything about this. The SOB FORBIDS(!!!!!!!) municipalities from requiring masks. Wonder what he's got to say with an increasing number of businesses (Walmart, Target, CVS) now requiring masks to be worn? Georgia Gov. Brian Kemp forbids cities, counties from requiring masks as coronavirus surges in the state https://www.boston.com/news/coronavirus/2020/07/16/georgia-masks
I thought I said this before in here but I can't find it. The mayor of Miami said it best. Look at those masks like putting on a seatbelt. Do we like it ?? NO. But we do it anyway. And who knows, it might save a life.
