This guy hit a submerged log on the Sandusky River. My guess is that he was at (or close to) wide open throttle.

OK, so he has a cracked hull and is still above water? That's a damn fine boat!

 

Actually . . . it appears he whacked the log, chit his pants and hauled ass towards shore. I suspect the keel is sitting on the bottom in 3 feet of water.

Pro Tip: If you give cops a fake name, make sure it's not that of a person wanted for more serious crimes than the small infraction you're accused of committing.

Boston transit police were slapping Tina Lunn with a citation for smoking in a non-smoking area, when she allegedly tried to avoid any penalties by giving a fake name and birth date.

However, there was an arrest warrant out for a person with the name that Lunn gave police, MyFoxBoston reports.

Although the officer informed Lunn about the arrest warrant, she didn't reveal that she had given a fake name. In fact, she went through the entire booking process using her new assumed name, TPDNews.com reports.

Eventually, officers discovered Lunn's real identity.

Officers said they also discovered that Lunn had several warrants out under her real name, including three counts of assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, kidnapping, larceny, and illegal possession of chemical mace, according to Boston.com.

Lunn was then booked under her real name and charged with brandishing a false name, She was also given a citation for smoking, according to police.

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. ?A Bernalillo County sheriff?s deputy said a man tried to get out of a DWI arrest recently by offering authorities free Mountain Dew.

Deputies were called to the area of Old Coors and Coors to investigate a single-vehicle crash in which a car had slammed into a light pole. There they found Luis Rodriguez-Neri.

Deputies said Rodriguez-Neri told them he had ?six shots of Bacardi? before getting behind the wheel. He refused field sobriety and breath alcohol tests.

While at the South Valley Command Center, deputies said Rodriguez-Neri offered them Mountain Dew if they let him go.

Rodriguez-Neri was arrested and charged with aggravated DWI, leaving the scene of an accident, damage to signs/equipment and bribing a public official.
