Ray has got to be kicking himself big time. Thats really gotta hurt knowing you were going to get a call up and then get smoked and lose the opportunity. VerHagen has got a case of the jitters I'll bet.

Drew VerHagen has his major league debut today for the Tigers and there is a Double Header today also. VerHagen starts the first game at 1:08 against Cory Kluber. Second game gets underway at 7:08.

took the kid to the game last night, he had a blast. his first Tiger game, unfortunately we couldnt get the win. Almost caught a foul ball. we were on the 3rd baseline about 6 rows up - awesome seats. good times

 

Wow. Good for you guy's. Those are awesome seats too. Something he will never forget. Did you have to do the merry-go-round thing out in center field? lol You and your son, win or lose, must have had a great time.

 

This VerHagen guy is having himself one heck of a debut. C'mon Tigers!...get him some runs.

I guess the Tigers are conceding game 1. There playing the who's who of pitchers out there.

 

Kluber is dealing 94mph sinkers in the 9th...wow.

 

Indians take game 1, 6-2. Kluber looked pretty darn good.

I cant believe this Bull Pen is this bad. It must be addressed asap.

 

Don't sugar coat this. The Bull Pen could not get up to bad in its wildest fantacies. Joe Nathan is wildly unpredictable. His nickname should be 'Nitro' as in Nitroglycerin - unstable. His number would need to change to C3H5N3O9.

The Tigers sure seem to pick the most inopportune times to go into a slump. Hopefully the Tigers will salvage one of the four in the series.
