here's one more thing Santana can do well - play guitar. one of my favorite guitarists, and the most distinctive sounding guitarist i can think of.
Dang. I get back inside and its 7-5 Indians. Pesky bastards. Good call on Carlos, Lulz. You got me thinking (first time today), I cant think of anyone more distinctive either. There are some unique sounds out there, but there all covered and duplicated. Carlos though, seems to stand alone. Its not just the sound, but the mix of style, and attack, feeling and sound. Good player for quite a long time now. He's been around my whole damn life. Cool. As I'm typing this the Tigers come up with 2 runs and the game is now tied at 7 in the 5th. I love the occasional daytime baseball game. I can always have it on when I'm out and about.
9-9, in the 11th. Fans getting their moneys worth today. Its been nice working out in the garage/shop on some projects and having the game going on the radio. Sunny, low 80's, much success in breaking and destroying stuff. Crazy thing is, I was enjoying my spring clean, completely sober. Everything was going well until I decided to take a saw I uncovered and do a little pruning on the pear tree out behind the garage...I promptly got my hair caught in the tree. There i was, stuck, and really tangled up. So, in my sharp as a tack way of handling things, I grabbed a handful of hair and gave it a yank. After a few attempts and a lot of cussing (which would have killed anyone from laughter, who may have seen me), I managed to break lose, only to have a rather long twig hanging from my hair like a Bob Marley dread lock. I left it there and went back to work. Had to cut the damn thing out later lol. Thanks for spending a moment in the life and times of a crazy man at work.
OK, Alex Avila with a blast. Now its up to Coke to close this out. Nevermind...Coke just gave up a run, 10-10 now.
Welcome back my friends to the show that never ends... We're so glad you could attend, come inside come inside...
Ray has his work cut out for him today. He faces Darvish and the Rangers. I thought the Rangers were playing the Habs...but what do I know? ...and btw. Prince is not making the trip to Detroit. He has a herniated disk in his neck that is bothering him.

Learned something listening to the game. For every MPH of wind behind a baseball after its been hit, you can add 3 feet to the distance. For example; a ball hit with a 15 MPH wind behind it travels an extra 45 feet. Ive been wondering about that... I will sleep better tonight.
What do you do when your in the midst of a losing streak and getting your hat handed to you? Call upon Danny Worth to pitch the 9th. He's got a good knuckleball. The crowd seems to be enjoying it...and he strikes out two.

http://www.cbssports.com/mlb/eye-on...er-to-have-neck-surgery-may-miss-rest-of-2014 It is too bad about Prince Fielder. Wish him a speedy recovery. It looks like the trade for Ian Kinsler was even a better move than I originally thought.
I can only hope the best for him too. He sure has been on the decline the past couple seasons, but usually a steady eddie. $24 mil and he will probably be shelfed...ouch!
haven't been on here in forever but I can see you are doing an excellent job Will. Lot of posts to read through, I thought youd be a great writer for the Tigers and youve done nothing but prove me right
